The dubstep definetly takes you somewhere else, but it's hinted that this comes from the very beginning with that harsh bass synth lingering in the background. It just jumps in fully after the first part. There's a lot of the previous harmony left to the imagination while the synths accentuate rhythm so you can keep following and it does come back afterwards. Dirty synths are the best part of this genre

I don't listen dupstep but i don't hate it. I accidentally found this song with a very good melody and vocal, and i like those. So it is better for me to listen this version
