5:06 He actually said "Nice course" in English and i guess they changed it to "Great shot" because it just sounds more like something English speaking volleyball players would say as a compliment, as it kinda means the same
You've probably checked out Hyakuzawa already, but just to remind that he already played Karasuno in Spring High prelims (his team is Kakugawa High). Also, when you were talking about the whole point of Kageyama's and Atsumu's interaction being getting to the "thirst trap" - while I can't say you're 100% wrong lol, the author is very careful about spending frames (especially big and detailed ones) only on things they deem important, so there's that~ (They did express their desire to just portray the characters hanging out normally, but were too scared of boring the readers back when the manga was ongoing)
English is not my first language, would you be so kind to explain the nuances of "goody two shoes"? I get most of the colloquial bits but this is pretty hard for me. and usually not even reactors comment on that. Is it something about being "too perfect" on the outside?
@@JacopoBasanisi English is not my first language either so please bear with my spelling and grammar mistakes. Kageyama was famous in junior high for his outstanding setting skills and he was mentioned with a headline right? Maybe because of the trauma he got from middle school, Kageyama changed, agreed and alter his sets for the spikers instead of bringing out the best in the spikers. So, when Atsumu meet Kageyama he probably expected Kageyama will brings out the best from the spikers but instead he saw how kageyama adjusted according to spikers and was playing safe. On the other hand, Atsumu enjoys wild and tricky plays. He did not hesitate to try out the Quick attack with his brother (monkey see monkey do). And in episode 23 Tanaka asked Kageyama to decrease the number of tosses for him. We all know how mentally strong our Tanaka senpai is and so does Kageyama. His did not cater to Tanaka request because he knew what Tanaka was capable of. Atsumu was there too and he saw how kageyama changed in a short time and pushed his spikers beyond their limits. " Where the hell did the Goody two shoes go..?" You can head Atsumu amused tone after that. I hope you get a little from my long boring explanation 😭.
Hyakuzawa is the 2 meters guys we met in season 2. karasuno played against his team. He is in HighSchool. And the Atsumu scene is just just for the girls to fangirl over him. What he said is of extreme importance for the rest of the season and its a turning point for Kageyama's character, please dont treat that scene as just a honey trap
Regarding translations, I believe they're choosing to phrase them to sound more natural in English. Sometimes when words are borrowed into other languages, they may not carry the same meaning. Also, certain volleyball terms are different in English speaking countries for example in haikyuu you'll hear chance ball but in English they say free ball.
Yes I know there's no point but lol Hyakuzawa is the 2 meter guy from that team Karasuno beat in the prelims who only started playing in high school. The middle school kid who's going to Shiratorizawa next year is a setter.
the ball boy arc imo is one of the most important arc’s in the show so far, granted there are ofc more arcs that are better or come close to the impact the ball boy arc however Hinata’s growth is something many people did not take into account while watching this for the first time. I could write a whole essay on how important this arc is
"Take it easy" - Is something that can motivate you as well as you could see in this episode. Just the way Hinata can observe everything, analyze situations and improve on his movements is such a good character development. He learns as a ball boy and makes more progress than many others who are here in this camp. That's my point of view.
The other popular anime has ruined my sports anime experience. Everytime i watch an anime reaction video, and someone says something about a big guy, i always hear a very deep voice saying "DADDY!"
Actually the "Goody Two Shoes" might be the most important moment in the episode so keep that in mind for later ;)
And the "Take it easy"
when kageyama said “you’re a good reference” he was implying that hoshiumi is a good example of what hinata could become in the future

The goody two shoes line by Tsumu always got misunderstood by every fucking reactors 😂 and its hilarious .

You probably already figured out but that guy is the 2 meter tall guy from season 2 episode 13
For reference, "Goody Two Shoes" here is kinda more meant to imply that Kageyama is a pushover
Fun fact: Atsumu’s voice actor is Light Yagami from Death Note.

Still hate that they translated "Allright!" to "I got it"
@@amoghjoshi7091 Actually that is a good translation.
I guess all right is same in context I like it cause it also may show Hunata is listening to coach Ukai saying “all right, we will slow down.”

so by the time I started reacting to anime, I watched all of Haikyuu, im glad to have found people qho love that show. it is one of the best animes

A word from Atsum will affect Kageyama's future volleyball. Like Oikawa, Atsum is also a character that inspired Kageyama!
That goody 2 shows moment is quite important
that goody two shoes comment by Atsumu got everybody confused😭 like i was confused for a while even after watching the later episodes🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️
19:52 Hinata said "Nice course" in English but the subtitle is "Great shot"
Did you guys notice how Hoshiumi's voice (short, white hair, mysterious guy) has the same voice as Tanjiro? Can't unhear it haha
incoming kageyama said : THEN GET THE FKIN POINT !
You can see Shiratorizawa's coach face in the last point of s3 when the ball touches the ground. It's a great expression, just as that dude mentioned
The guy with the blue shirt is hoshiumi the new little tiny giant 💙 he a seagull
5:00 He said "nice course" but yeah i hate that too,to this day i still don't know why they started doing that on this season.
"Nice course."
let’s take it easy

Hope someone sees this. Why havent they reacted to Demon Slayer season 2?
they changed their schedule when they finished season 1. They probably dont have space to watch it yet
❤️
