  • Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) at moderate concentrations are required to regulate normal functions and maintain the redox balance of cells. However, high levels of ROS lead to detrimental effects, such as cell structure impairment, organelles dysfunction, and abnormal cell death.
    Check out this timelapse for remarkable cellular responses provoked by a brief exposure to an elevated level of ROS using a microfluidic system. The video showcases these responses in real-time, captured non-invasively by Tomocube label-free live cell imaging system - the HT-X1.
