- Coolerworx Canada helped me out with getting a new shifter for the Rally Mini. Solidly built and I'm super excited to use it on stages. Check them out at www.coolerworxna.com or / coolerworxcan

not too shabby, thanx for posting!!!
I just did the same on my R53 and installed the CAE shifter, which is essentially the same as the Coolerworx. Procedure pretty much the same for R53 also. Your video helped a lot, thanks very much for posting!
Glad I was able to help you out!
u need to change the cable when u install the CAE shifter?
@@dyu4278 I think only if you have older R53 it requires cable change. Mine is 05 so no cable change needed
@@gnowhb my is 03 after i got the shifter.try to install it,the cable no fit😂
@@dyu4278 I think you can buy a new cable to make it fit. Hope it works out.
nice job. waiting to pull the trigger on a shifter like this until my wrx is no longer my daily.
Good video man....
Well done!!!
Thank You!
mom threw out the box with hardware in it. so my question is what is included in that hardware kit. is it only bolts?
I wish I remember, it's been so long since I installed it. Shoot a message to CoolerWorx and they'll be able to help you
Great video!
Thank you!
Does it work on other car brands? Nice video 👍
About how long did it take to install overall?
Does this work on r61?
Will you make a video and provide info on the seat install?
I installed the seats a couple years ago. Because of the limited space they are a pain to get in and out, so I don't plan on taking them out anytime soon. All I'm doing from here on out is making sure the bolts stay tight. Seat install is pretty simple though. Four bolts hold the seat to the floor, remove them and unplug the wiring harness that connects to them. Get a seat bracket (I used Planted) and bolt that in place. Bolt the new seat to the bracket.
@@HNPRacing where did you find your seats?
Not the cupholders!
