@@voqzmk2 Yeah thought you might say that one. Has a sweet sounding dose when you let off but everything else is kind of underwhelming tbh.
Not sure what the limitations are with the ingame sounds are, but it really sounds very little like a real car on throttle and especially the limiter.

hope you all know how integral this car is to Supra history and how much it contributed to MKIV internet notoriety. from the earliest days of UA-cam, the highly searched and now sacred words- WOTM, GT47-88, 3.4 stroker, names like Ryan Woon, Cody Phillips, Jon Pratkanis, and Ian Poland.
8 sec full weight street car with stock transmission (full synchro) and bike killer almost 17 years ago.
I also own a supra with a supercharged turbo but the main reason is i want the turbo that flutters you know the "sutututututututu" one that thing is clean as hell bro

That neutral after a pull gave me cringe. As a fact, after a pull, would be ideal to remove as much heat the engine produced as possible. Coolant do that with flow. Basically you are starving the engine of coolant to cool down at idle. Ideal would be 2.5k - 3.5k rpms with engine brake (no throttle).
Also, after a pull theoretically you are fast. What you DONT want to do is put the car out of gear and let it roll loose. Any wobble or weight transfer would be nasty. Shift it to 5th or 6th and let it roll a while. Fix both problems.

how are you connecting external mics to the GoPro? are using the media mod and connecting the receiver there? Or are you recording the sound apart and then editing it all together?
Fair play, you nailed the sound recording. But the camera angle is terrible.
Also, the 2nd & 3rd shifts at 2:34 were lovely.

Car makers usually offers V6 engines above 240hp.
But they never comes with a turbo.
Why is this? many standard 4cylinder options below that gets it.. How hard can it be?

As a general point, what's the goal behind putting the car in neutral after a pull?
I see a lot of drag racing people do this and I'm always confused by it. Surely you want the overrun to help slow down the car, and going into neutral you risk the engine stalling and you losing whatever assistances the car still has?
Also, on the sound topic, is the wastegate plumbed back into the exhaust? Sounds very clean.

Have you ever driven a manual car? How is letting a car free float without any resistance going to make it stop faster than keeping the drivetrain engaged on overrun?
And who said anything about damaging the engine?
@@BoostHunters i think its because the oil and coolant, cooling capabilities are greatly reduced when the engine is heat soaked, therefore to minimise the effects of this the car is put into neutral to reduce rpm and give the turbo a bit of time to cool prior to next pull.
So in short poor cooling and compromises or americans getting hands on a manual.
@@kacperchrusciel890 That's not how it works, letting it idle down in gear would actually decrease engine heat since it's working off friction and shutting off injectors at that point.
