I love that Playstyle. Before the big push I think you could have added a few more productions. But age up timing was on spot. I miss the good old times where you could supervise the clocktower. Played a 2:2 yesterday against french and English. They went 2 tc, I went 4 then after I scouted as abba and kept them busy for a long time. When they tried their last push, my companion, french, run into french base which was unprotected then.
I may be wrong here but I think you can vaguely assign barracks units to turtle strats, archery ranged units to boomy style strats and stable units to rush/aggro. So for example if he is crossbow spear that's like turtle/boom and you can counter that with boom/boom and that could look like archer xbow or hand cannon archer or archer archer e.t.c. And obviously you'd supplement the archery range units with eco infrastructure as well.
@@Oscarhagsjo that's too simplified though. if you're French and you go knight archer then with literally any civ I can go knight horsemen and you're countered all game until you shift into spears

@@Oscarhagsjo I promise you (I've tested it with a friend) that if English goes spear horsemen vs knight archer the spear horsemen counter it vastly more effectively than if they go longbow spear. Knight archer actually counters spear archer. Knight archer vs spear longbow is a little bit more neutral but still favoured toward the French.
Could you make a tier list about how to play team games bcz i jave been stragling when it comes to impriel i don't know what to do or when an opponent is attacking my ally what should be my respond should i defend him or go and attack one of them make it 1 to 1 , thank you for reading.
Turtling is something you do, if you are under attack. While booming, you give up aggression, and therefore turtling often goes hand in hand with booming.

i think your unit comps are more locked behind what civ you play tbh
