I think it may be better for marketing if it's it's own game. That way they can market is as a brand new game, rather than a new game mode inside of a 7+ year old game.
Yeah pubg already have the necessary extraction shooter components in place… bigger maps, nice looting/inventory system, back packs (1-3 level space), decent weapons with attachments, gun play and good TTK balance. It’s also a nice slower pace instead of too fast paced.
I'm pretty on board with the theory.

PUBG still has the best gunplay mechanics since 2017... The best blend of accessible realism.

I don't think it's tied to PUBG, but the reason for the delay is that they are switching to UE5 and of course they'll carry over PUBG first and only then continue to work on BB
imagine Ghost recon breaking point becoming a 200 player server or more extraction. MAAAAAN that would be awesome.

I just hope they know that they have to put as much time into the out of game stuff as they do gameplay. Its the reason tarkov is so addictive. There is always many goals, many things to progress and the hideout and tasks is what keeps things going. It needs to have that true feeling of loss when you die, loss of time and money. Like you cant have an extraction game where you go loot stuff just to sell to buy the equipment you can find in game like many of the games that have came out recently.
I think the main problem with the extraction genre is that nobody can get close to what escape from Tarkov has done. Some developers are trying to go to casual, which obviously takes away the magic that Tarkov has. And the others that try to make it realistic just can’t get close to the level of depth within tarkov. It’s a tricky genre. I do hope someone can nail down the perfect balance.
I think we have to remember Tarkov is tarkov. If everyone just copies everything they did they wont win Tarkov had a 8 year head start they nee to make it their own for sure.
I'm very interested to see what it could be about. I do really like the gunplay of PUBG and my friends and I will play a few hours a week because of it. I also wish that CoD devs had stuck with DMZ too.

This ties into Callisto Protocol btw, those tree looking stuff is biophage and the game was originally being made by Striking Distance. So it’s likely that we’ll see mutants that behave like crack heads.

Why do people hate/dislike zombies in video games?
No hate or anything just wondering because I don't get it.
I think its cause its so over played and they dont change it up ever. I dont mind zombies its just such a cliche. They also dont usually have good AI to them. Then they just say ohhh thats zombies they are jsut dumb....

Besides the childish joke somewhere, I will comment on this video anyway. I still like playing Pub G, but I have only played in on mobile devices. I think it would be even better on PC. A new game from Krafton, whether it involves zombies or is just an Extraction type of game would also be fun. I have yet to play Tarkov, but it sounds something like Rust.
