Yes, it's the most fun game in term of killing one enemy. You have to learn the best way to kill a specific enemy, and you should know your equipment well. But sad thing is so many people did not get it and try to kill an enemy with a single kind of arrows. And than they say it's such a boring fight.
In the main game stealth is KING, I took down pretty much every machine like this, using trap, tripcasters etc. but then I got the Shield Weaver armor went to the frozen Wilds and threw stealth out the window lol
Thanks! I agree, it’s not the most common way fireclaws are typically defeated. But I thought showcasing that there’s more than one way to bring down the bear highlights just how incredible this game is with the diversity of approaches and available play styles.
I love stealth game play and I think the game gives more when played this way, when you can. I have the unnerfed version of this game, and im loving it. I'm currently level 52, don't wanna spoil but just found out who aloy is and very close to end game. I can't wait to play tfw then start ng+, and got all lodge weapons at once. This game is a blast. There's so many ways to play.
Yup this is how i do it everytime. These things are the worst head on. It is a better idea though making sure he no longer has the yellow sign above him before attacking again. But it does suck that in the battles where it matters they just force you to go head on against it. That is just torture on Ultra Hard. Not to mention the other enemies that come along to help.
I fought it head on while running out of arrows and scraps, next to daemonic scorchers and tramplers. The Shield weaver armor really helped as, believe me, I would have died about a hundred times. What I did was corrupt the tramplers and made it fight the fireclaw, and when they inevitably died without a chance, I looted their bodies and... fought the fireclaw for about 20 minutes xD when I killed it, all I got was a heart and it wasn't worth the time
Ahh! You’re using the hard point arrows! Much quicker to load and draw than the long distance arrows I’m always using. Good tip dude! And she’s wearing the silent hunter adept outfit with 4 stealth mods? Splendid vid , Aloy is just awesome as are the metal monsters in this fantastic game.

Havent played on Ultra Hard, but for these type of machines I used the Improved Frozen Dawn weapons. For frostclaw I will just spam the fire blower thingy while fireclaw I will use the ice counterpart. Faster than using arrows in my opinion.

Shit, I could probably start a new game and it'd be sitting there waiting for me at Grotas camp! You manage to hit this fireclaw repeatedly (and even outright fight it) and it just ignores you like a mom thats having a conversation with another adult while her kid constantly taps her leg saying, "Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom!"
triple-shot is soooo important. You can notch 3 right away and then switch weapons and when you come back to it those 3 arrows will still be notched, so just do it right away after you take a shot.
From experience in both zero dawn and forbidden west, when a machine light is red, it stays red, it knows where i am at all times.....only when its blue or yellow can i change their attention, when its red, it stays red until i die or they die.
When you kill all fireclaws of the DLC, during the story of the DLC, and when you finish the story of it... will remain some areas of Fireclaws on the map?
Yes! It’ll be in the top right (?) corner of the map where the rock breaker is located in the one quest you’ll find in Longnotch. Thankfully, there’s always just one.
@@Karma-un2ws I think it's pretty fairly balanced on VH and UH. Being able to take one hit for free is just enough to save your life in a pinch but not enough to let you cheese your way through a fight. The armor strength is kinda ridiculous on the lower difficulties, IMO.
Bruh it's even easier than frostclaw and takes me 2 minutes to defeat it. Only the losers find it impossible. In my opinion, the two other machines of dlc are way stronger especially the wolf one (forgot its name lol)

The great thing about ultra hard mode? Once you run straight to Meridian *cough* I mean beat it fair and square, you get the turn the difficulty down to story mode and pretend like you got super weapons and armors instead of some stupid face paint and Focus colors. Farm up some blaze and burn TF out of everything! YEET!

This was a nice hunt but it was not a stealth kill as the video name suggests. There was no "stealth kill" bonus experience shown on the screen.

I unlocked triple shot as quickly as I possibly could (after lure and silent strike, of course), but for some reason I ALWAYS forget about it. 🤦♂️

It is but it's heavily nerfed. You can usually just take one hit and it runs out of juice for a little while.
