Originaly series was planed as bunch of individual stories happening during 3 years of Clone Wars, that is why early seasons are all over the place at the timeline
it usually boils down to them showing like an event, and then deciding to build upon that same event by releasing the story of what lead up to it easiest example, movie first, then 1x16 showing them fighting on the planet, and then 2x16 showing them deliver supplies to the planet, they went further and further back exploring this location
its interesting to see don questioning why the clones r acting as individuals, in the clone wars each n every clone has its own distinct personality n i love it n thats one of the reasons its my fav show pls dont stop watching don 🙏🏻 preciate it
I read a theory back in the day. The theory, and I cannot remember who posted it, claimed that Slick's betrayal was the first test of the inhibitor chip. The reasoning was something like "how could a clone be swayed to turn with just the promise of freedom when they were bred, raised, and programmed to be loyal to the republic". I think it's a pretty interesting theory. Slick turning oesn't have much of an impact on the story as a whole but it would make for an interesting easter egg of sorts.
You want to know one better in the bad batch there is a theory that the first clone assassin captain rex captures is slick because he showed great hatred to rex and he knew his name like he had something personal with him.
'T' is the Clone Wars Movie. It's third on the chonological order list but doesn't have a number next to it because it isn't a single episode that aired on TV, it was released in cinemas. 23:45 Also, do *not* watch Season 1 Episode 22 immedietely after Season 1 Episode 21. Stick to the chronological order.
IIRC, there was music that played when they introduced the cloaking ship that was the same music that played when the Death Star appeared on the screen. I think there was another mention of the "no ship that small has a cloaking device" quote from ESB in this episode too.
24:07 The clone wars was released out of chronological order because they went back to add to previous episodes, and do things with more effects that they didnt have the budget for in earlier seasons. Its also an anthology series, jumping around beyween different characters so you get the state of the whole galaxy and the war. Also "T" is rhe Clone Wars movies that these 2 episodes led into.
Technically delivering that food is humanitarian effort, meaning it's supposed to be kept separate from any military actions. So Anakin committed a war crime. The "Good Guys" commit a lot of war crimes in this show.
Yeah it can be a bit confusing to understand the order, but it’ll help with keeping the story straight rather than having you guess when and where it takes place
As someone who watched the show in episode order, I can't say I understand watching it in chronological. It's not really that confusing, and things generally go in chronological order anyway.
Hey Don, I know you're never gonna read this but, these are the proper ep 1&2 of TCW, they come before the Movie; if you had done this in *proper* Chronological order then you should have started w/ ep 1-4 of "Tales of the Jedi" then these two, then the movie...😂
This episode along with the second one takes place before the movie. Kind of filling in how they got into such a desperate position in the beginning of the film.
@Don Townsend Could you watch Jurassic Park 3? Or the Jurassic world trilogy? Maybe even the how to train your dragon series? (There are multiple) it would be pretty cool if you reacted to any one of these! Thank you. :) Edit: maybe even “Monarch Legacy of Monsters”? That show is also very good!
If you're looking for more Star Wars content, Knights of the Old Republic is one of the best video games of all time and well worth a run through. Just whatever you do, look up nothing to do with the story. It's a masterpiece and a journey to go through un-spoiled.
I'm confused and probably not as big a star wars fan as some of y'all ....this is not the first episode correct? Y'all making him watch it differently because of story?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released out of chronological order. The show was designed as an anthology series, allowing viewers to "jump In" at any episode or story arc and still vaguely understand what's going on. If an episode had been animated and was finished being made, it was just sort of aired. This order he is watching is the official chronological order that can be found on the official Star Wars website. Watching the whole of The Clone Wars chronologically is the best way to watch it, as watching it in release order means that a character may die one season, then be alive in the next, then never appear again because they died earlier even though you saw them again. The plot and overall story also makes a lot more sense chronologically and is easier to follow.
There is absolutely no real reason to watch in chronological order. Lots of shows and comics have time jumps in them, it's not THAT confusing. These first "chronological" episodes are not a great introduction to the show; they're just kind of generic action plots. The Clone Wars feature film, which takes place a little "later" in the timeline, is a much better introduction to the plots, characters and situations of the show. We can figure things out without having them spoon-fed to us.
Bros going by the chronological order. MAD respect
Beginning with a kid friendly animated show, ending with an epic war drama. Enjoy the ride!
That is the most accurate description of this show I've heard.
Christophis star wars the clone wars movie to beginn
And long next episode two days one week ?
I mean kinda didnt disney cancel it which made the show end early
That's always what star wars is tho isn't it? From "oh it's a space battle with wizards and laser swords" to Vader's "you already have"
6:52 The reason he says that line exactly like Leia is because that's the guy who will later become her adoptive father.
literally about to write that lmao, glad I wasn't the only one who remembers it!

THIS WHAT I BEEN WAITING FOR ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS
"Help us General Kenobi. You're our only hope."
The same quote that his adopted daughter Leia would say in the future. It's like poetry. It's rhymes.
IIRC, there was music that played when they introduced the cloaking ship that was the same music that played when the Death Star appeared on the screen. I think there was another mention of the "no ship that small has a cloaking device" quote from ESB in this episode too.

Give us as much clone wars as there is my brother, please!!! 💪💪 I’m so hyped
Yess! You not only watching the series but the chronological order too!!
You are the best!
Clone wars is the best Star Wars out there IMO!!!
Technically delivering that food is humanitarian effort, meaning it's supposed to be kept separate from any military actions.
So Anakin committed a war crime.
The "Good Guys" commit a lot of war crimes in this show.
Yeah so this leads right into the movie, which is why when the droid army comes all they have is the artillery canons
Yeah it can be a bit confusing to understand the order, but it’ll help with keeping the story straight rather than having you guess when and where it takes place
No ventress and obi wan weren’t in fact “Clapping”
i'd love to see how admiral trench and grand admiral thrawn would interact.
So hype your doing this series!
As someone who watched the show in episode order, I can't say I understand watching it in chronological. It's not really that confusing, and things generally go in chronological order anyway.
My first watch I was extremely confused, and wish I could've had a longer relationship with some clones before any deaths.
We need more!

Personally the later seasons in the clone wars is some of the best star wars you will ever see

Bruv actually asked if obi wan and ventress were clappin lmao

If you're looking for more Star Wars content, Knights of the Old Republic is one of the best video games of all time and well worth a run through.
Just whatever you do, look up nothing to do with the story. It's a masterpiece and a journey to go through un-spoiled.

why are you watching it in chronological order? I understand if you do that for the movies, but for this, just watch it like any other show. 😅

He already watched the movie a while ago
@@gorirakujira4169 Yes but my point still stands.
First
You should watch the OG 2003 Clone Wars instead. It's the superior series.
