I saw someone saying the old dude and the kid could be representations of Josh. So he’s actually always with Tyler through his journey. Not sure it is true but it’s such a cute theory I might just believe in it :)
This song was a BANGER on the 1st listen!! Also did u notice the opening scene color scheme the yellow pole black trash can and red bike i thought that was a cool play on all the colors we’ve come to associate with them
enjoying this a lot, getting big choker and stressed out vibes from the video. the kid at the lemonade stand is the grandson of their buisness manager, brad gibson, the son of one of their old friends. a bit more to unpack lyrically then the other tracks, i love the overall vibe of this but feel like i have to dive in a lot more to fully understand what he's talking about.
I listened to it for the first time but also on repeat on my 20min walk home. No video only the song. And at first it didn’t really stick out to me musically but the lyrics had me sucked in. Watched the video at home later and then it really clicked for me and now I love it :)
At first I wasn't sure how to feel about the song but the more time I've taken to process the lyrics it might actually be my favorite
My thoughts exactly

2:55 It was indeed a fair trade as it said on the smaller sign "OR 1 hamburger Bun"

You mighta missed the heavy line when he got to the lemonade stand saying:
Kinda wishin' that I never did "Saturday"
I definitely missed it when watching the video, but I heard it after the fact and it made me sad haha
