Wow that's pretty high production value, great to see people enjoying the chasm. I dig out the mud steps every year before summer. Glad you liked the place.
Hi this is Alison from Patuna farm. Glad you enjoyed your time on our walk. We really enjoyed watching your video. Would it be ok to post this on our Facebook page? We would credit you as the creator.
Hey Alison! Absolutely, thank you for getting in touch and for faciliating such a fantastic experience! You can tag me on Johnny Hendrikus on facebook. J
Awesome video mate! This could be a TV doco! Very well done. We took our mavic pro here 2 years ago and made a video that went nuts on FB (nearly 700,000 views). How good is NZ right?! Gonna look you guys up on your insta's now and see what else you been up to :)
We need to protect these waters, especially with the issue of didymo. Make sure your hiking boots and footwear are clean before entering. Not sure that they have facilities for this on the farm, so go prepped.
Typical how pakeha owned businesses shorten the rightful name of such an iconic location to suit their needs, don't be the business that "Bastardises" the traditional name of a phenomenal natural landscape to appease both yourselves & visitors. Last time I checked on google maps it's clearly says "Ruakokopatuna River" not Patuna River does it?

An outstanding movie of a NZ gem. But where do the tourists head to? The totally make believe Hobbiton. It's not even the real film set.
I appreciate this
Ongaonga grass? Patuna - tuna, eel. Pa - village.
