The positives I saw were: Taking the risk to kick for 2 points rather than 1 (like basketball). The countdown clock. The major negative was how this made a goal less attractive. Unless it's going to be 5 or 6 points then why would you try for a goal until necessary.
Allowing the attacking team to catch a mark, play on, miss, then go back for the mark... is a dreadful new rule.. totally unfair on the other side, defence or goal keeper who have prevented the attack.
First match, Connacht v Leinster was unfortunately one sided. Was reasonably entertaining but I suspect it would be played differently if it was an important match.
3 players stay in your own half is a great idea. Badly needed. No more 15 men defences 😴
I wonder what the penalty will be if one of the three players moves into their own half during play and off the ball.
11 and a goalkeeper is still a lot but definitely an improvement.

Understand the logic but it makes kicking a 25 metre pass gets two rewards.
