Crazy bus driver will not let kid's off bus

- So parents in my area have had problems with the bus driver she will not pick up or drop off in the same spot she also will yell at the kids curse at them and there parents. This morning it went to a whole new level the parents asked the bus driver why she let them out by the busy Road yesterday afternoon the bus driver starts to freak out and yell and cruse kids get upset and angry parents want there kids off the bus and she refused cops show up and parents get there kids off and cops ask what the problem is bus driver trying to say one of the parents tried to hit her which is very untrue hope to see this driver lose her job.
Would have went through the emergency exit.

When that happens they tell at you and will chase you I had this happen to me and a kid opened it and got 3 referrals for things they did not do
I never fucked with the emergency exits when I was in like elementary school bc someone told me if you fucked with it, the bus would explode, I believed that up until we had a practice drill one day on one of my buses I ride. these kids have probably been told the same thing, or they're afraid to get yelled at bc they were told it they mess with the emergency exits and there's no real emergency, which I'm not saying this isn't an emergency, it most definitely is, that they would get written up and probably suspended or expelled or get charges pressed on them. That's what my bus drivers always told us.
Along with what others have said, some emergency exits aren't easy to open, and from what I can see they're small children :/

The lever on the door can be hard to move down especially for a little one. I would also imagine if they are like school districts I have worked for in the past there is an adult riding on the bus, possibly preventing the kids from having access to the door.

Why does nobody know how to open the emergency door? Anybody can open that from the inside the driver can't control that. many times it can be opened from the outside.
Only emergency door that can be open from outside is the rear door

the school is Long Fellow Elementary off Edith. the bus driver did not get in to any trouble for this. the bus company is family owned and we think the driver is family or a friend and will get no punishment for her actions.

The same happened to me. Our bus driver just stopped at our high school and waited there for 45 minutes. And she just stopped to take a rest. Everyone was late for things.

If there are bus drivers, who keep your kids on the bus with no explanation or they're just being uncooperative, or just scaring them by saying, "oh I'm going to keep you kids overnight" and all the other stuff, so if you're ever in that situation it's always good to go for the back door, and open it, it's not that hard you can open it from the outside or the inside whichever.
No kid, should ever have to go through this and no kids should ever be traumatized, I don't care what people say, these kids don't deserve to be traumatized, yet some people are just not wanting to listen to these kids voices of terror and cries for help. 😢
They should've climbed out the emergency exit. A parent could have directed them how to open it and then help them out

Imagine your kid being enclosed and held against their will with someone with whom you have no idea of their state of mind or what she is planning to do. It's scary for both parents and child. This driver needed to be fired. She's a nutcase. There are parents begging for their children. Again, I hope you will never have to come close to a day like this but you need to just step back and imagine these people's feelings. That bus driver is not getting any love at all.

Kira Tsuyoshi there was a problem with where the bus driver was dropping off the kids one of the parents so happened had to give a form to the driver that morning and also mentioned that she should not drop off the busy road there were words about where the bus stop is the bus company had it 417 Hannett when that address doesn't exist. so the bus driver got mad and started yelling cruse word's and she called the cops claiming the parents ganged up on her and hit her. the cops seemed not to believe a word she said no parents went to jail. I see a lot of people asking why not open the emergency door well the answer is easy if anyone of us did that we could have gone to jail. I really believe that the parents acted accordingly.

If I was the father of one of those kids. I would have done kicked that door in and grabbed my kids off that bus. Also every parent needs to request a call roster that has the kids parents phone numbers. That way if this happens again. The parents can call the other parents to get permission to let their kids get off at their classmate’s home until the parent picks them up. I believe that call roster is a must need.

I heard someone say something about not having ID. If this is a new or substitute driver that does not know which parent goes with which child, they have to ask for ID. Driver was probably calling dispatch on radio, which is what drivers are trained to do, if a parent has no ID. Can't just take parents or kids word. If a driver lets a kid go with the wrong person they are liable. Everyone ready to attack the driver and its likely they were just following the rules.
Also a bus driver can not allow a child to climb out the window. People should calm down and use the good sense god gave them.

How much these kids are crying. It's like, this type of experience is actually terrifying them. They're kids, if they act wrong, consult their parent, or principal. Don't yell at them, touch them, or lock them in the bus. And ye, there are emergency exits. But 1. They're kids. 2. When someone is scared shitless, they are too scared to think of anything. I mean a lot of people, not just kids.

Since when is it acceptable to punish all the kids for the actions of a few misbehaving kids? Its not the bus drivers job to discipline kids thats the parents job. The districts have rules that if a kid misbehaves and parents don't correct the behavior then the kid can't ride the bus anymore. Its not rocket science.
