  • Heavy blades back in TNP. Why? Because it's fun and these knives rock. I might do some IISA action with these too. For now I'll introduce you to the huge Nepalese Heavy Chopper. This is a mammoth blade capable of mammoth things...as shown. It won't work in some POUs, in others It will be ideal. Be careful with this one too as it will take your hand off.

I've bought a few from Kailash Blades and am very impressed with their value. While you may wait a few months, it's worth it to get something made by hand instead of another $300 piece of factory junk just because tacticool gear hoarders have to brag about their brands.

When you said that you had to go to a place to find DEAD WOOD I thought you would go to Washington DC to complete a review.

Reminds me of the TOPS El Chete. The WorkTuff Gear “Proper Chopper” and their “CUMA King Destructo” are two very very well done CHOPPERS 🔥🔪👍👍🇺🇸

Most of the time, those guys in Nepal make their blades out of the leaf springs off of old broken trucks..
Which is normally 5160 spring steel.. Which is great stuff for a blade.
Not as good as modern super steel, but doesn't cost as much either.
Edit: Oh, I guess you said that in the video. lol

Adding to the list of good Nepalese makers, Kailash blades has some traditional style khukuris with a modern twist and others they’ve created from scratch and I think they oil harden their spring steel. What sold me was they can do differential hardening (aka hamon) and an acid etch. They offer kydex which is kinda flimsy .. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Good stuff though.

Can I recommend estwing camper axe. Its high value, not as heavy as i would have thought. Could be man portable, on pack, but definitely bike or buggy.

I watch everything but watch videos (sorry Nutn, I cant spend hundreds of dollars on a watch when I have a 13 dollar Casio F91W and a SERIOUS lack of ammo to feed my babies as well as normal food to feed myself with. :D ) And I dont want to risk having stupid thoughts about watches too. lmao

It's funny: you said you would never take it on a motorcycle or hike with it.. But that's exactly what you did to test it. lol. So I guess you would take it on a bike and then go hike with it ... and chop a bunch of sh^t. Must not be too much of a burden.

@@gixxerlouis It's likely an old leaf spring off of a truck; which is 5160 steel.
Not everyone wants a three thousand dollar knife. Get over it
