I don't think the issue on the hidden dropdown counting the number of options was down to needing the sleep statement. The problem was selecting 'Financial Analyst' and then trying to count the list but the list is not there after selecting 'Financial Analyst'. I made the same mistake.

Sir, one question i have : You have already used implicit wait for hidden dropdown, then why again thread.sleep method you are using? Implicit wait should be applied for all the lines of code.
