I have to m1942 one dated 1944 other is dated 1945 I just to know wht my pump when down pumping it stays up not down try many of thing I hope you can help thinks
If your pump keeps coming back out after pumping and you can feel the pressure beneath it, then your valve at the end of the pump needs looking at. You need to replace the rubber seal that is held closed with the small spring inside the valve. Only fuel-proof nitrile or viton rubber can be used here, ordinary rubber is destroyed by fuel in a few days.
Very nice, I have never seen one of those in action before. I didnt know the whole burner rotates with the valve.
