I live in Europe and I’m on spring break right now so I had to wake up earlier than usual for TTPD. I couldn’t concentrate on half of the album on first listen and then the second time it was kinda boring (but like not in a bad way just not the type of song I would expect from Taylor for this album) and then on the third listen it started to click and now I think this is definitely in my top 3 Taylor swift albums i feel like she wanted to make an album for the fans and not the charts with TTPD so don’t stress yourself with the fact that you don’t know every single detail about Taylor’s life or if you don’t like all songs because that’s totally understandable.🩷🩷 Either way I really loved your reaction and your opinions on the songs:)) 🩷🤍

i'm late to this 😭 but as a folklore girlie i genuinely liked the more calmer vibed because it just reminded me of that, i get why people don't like it as much but i took me around two three times and i started to get more into it. sure there's no songs like cruel summer and i see the similarities with some songs, but it's still a good album nonetheless with it's own distinguishable music- if that makes any sense.
this is my first time giving a review for an album i'm so sorry but yeah i see what you're saying anddd i love the parallels with some of her other songs so i'd give it a 10/10 🫶🫶

so me and my friend stayed up and did an analysis about it. we def got jumpscared by waking up to the deluxe. i feel kinda bad cause i noticed the "limited edition" songs on the vinyls were in the deluxe for . people have payed for like all 4vinyls to access those songs and now they're on all streaming apps. but anyways i feel like all the songs are similar but also different. like it gives midnights x maybe like folklore/evermore vibes. also sorry if i yap too much, you said give your opinion so imma do that lol 😭i got mostly midnights/foklore/evermore vibes but i got some rep vibes from whos afraid of little old me and lover vibes from my boy only breaks his favorite toys. i feel like this album was hyped up mostly for merchandise and vinysl more then the actual music and it wasn't the best. maybe I'm just too used to having taylor version released and that's why I'm disappointed but idrk. i wished we had like more emotion in the music like haunted (o.g.) and sad songs that i could scream and sob to. (sorry this is so long once i start, i cant stop 🤭)
also loved how you changed the exit from bang bang kiss kiss to goodbye goodbye goodbye you were bigger then the whole sky for the taylor swift :D

hello aria omg I literally screamed when I saw this video I love Taylor and I agree w you this album was kinda ok imo it didn’t hit like her other songs. my fav till now is def down bad but tbh I couldn’t get through listening the entire album plus the new songs. don’t get me wrong I absolutely love Taylor w all my heart this album wasn’t for me. ttpd actually gives me like evermore and midnights vibes cuz some of the background music sounds very similar from midnights, thats the first thing that came to my mind when I listened to the album. anyways , love u aria 💌🫶🏻

I feel so guilty for saying this, but the songs on ttpd: the anthology are so much more cachier. I think i dont really like the songs on ttpd that much cuz, its just the lyrics that are interesting. I can completely see what ur saying, because the songs that didn’t hit for me I felt so neutral about. (Like fortnight, guilty as sin, loml) But at the same time as a folklore girlie I really enjoyed listening to ttpd and how it had similar lyrical, storytelling like vibe like folklore but was a bit more Midnights and Reputation pop and instrumentals. florida and so long london are definitely my favs
i feel like this is the type of album that needs time to grow since its very very different from all her other work. but i loved the lyrics and how it was like poetry as songs. tbh i just really wished some of the instrumentals were different or more prominent because i feel like they were quiet (in some songs) so it felt like she was just talk/singing without background music. honestly loved many of the songs but some were kinda disappointing. as a folklore/red stan i feel like nothing will ever compare so its hards to live up to those masterpieces. overall i think it will def grow and it was made beautifully and the concept was perfect.
