Avatarium has just released the show from the legendary venue Nalen, in Stockholm, as a concert film to download in full HD quality.
There's also a possibility to get a pdf cover so that fans can create their own official bootleg DVD.
This was the first show on what should have been the Avatarium tour 2020 and was recorded right before the outbreak of covid-19.
The concert was filmed with 5 cameras by Blackbox and edited by Magnus Stenvinkel. The sound is mixed by Viktor Stenqvist.

This band is criminally underrated! It's like Falling Into Infinity era Dream Theater and old Opeth got together and jammed randomly while walking through an eerie meadow. Such a breeze to listen to them groovy riffs and progression! Vocals are awesome as well!
This is still one of my favorite Avatarium songs. That main riff is so super heavy, creating such a powerful dynamic in contrast with the quieter, melodic verses.

If this song does not make you tear then you have a problem, it has a Black Sabbath feel mix with Rainbow especially on the second solo it's so Ritchie Blackmore, the singer did great on this song and I can't help it but imagine Dio singing this song :(

What grabbed my ear it's the super riffs, the text and that it's not a constant headbanging. And well the lady and her voice is beautiful. I hope it's not hurting.
Between Jennie-Ann's writing and performance, the tone of the guitar, the darkness and heaviness of the keys, bass, and drums, the song is a godamn masterpiece. Leif Edling founded the band in 2013. A brilliant group of musicians. Marcus Jidell alone is one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. Bad ass f'n band. And I long for the day when the world gets its shit together so bands can tour again. An evening with Avatarium in NYC. I can see it now...

Possibly my favourite live version of my favourite Avatarium song thus far, and the (official) live versions from the Hammer of Doom Festival and Rock Hard Festival were already great! I love how some guitar parts - mostly the solos, but also some tender "decorations" (not sure, if this is the right word) at the beginning - are always played in a more or less different way. My overall favourite part of this song is the one from 2:22 until 4:00 - simply perfect!
