Beautiful, you sir are a craftsman! I always regretted not building one for my Grandfathers desk, before he passed away. When he retired in '73, he was running the F-4 series re-work program at NASNI here in San Diego. He worked at North Island for 32 years, and had some truly amazing stories. He knew of the the people that worked on the Sea Dart program, too.

You may want to consider raising the trailing edge flaps (inner flight control surfaces) since they don't come down without the leading edge also coming down.
Dusan, ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT work on Mr. Mac's Mig killer! I'm not a jet guy, but I do like the F-4 especially the "G" Wild Weasel variant. Fully loaded she's one mean lookin' bird. Your looks fantastic in FRG colours. Great vid. - Bob

The glue of Revell is good but not for small parts in fast making of a model.I use liquid glue with a bit of putty by gunze to join the fuselage halves and wings or where ever i had to use it.

Great build video, paint and weathering are spot on.
In the late seventies the Luftwaffe conducted a series of tests to optimize the camouflage of the Bundeswehr phantoms. Several aircraft received these new paint schemes, some of them very interesting. Luftwaffe-pilot Manfred Franzke made some photos and colored scale drawings of these machines. As far as I know, they were published in the German modelling magazine "Modell-Fan" and served as a pattern for this model...
I can warmly recommend AirDOC series of books for Phantoms. A must have fo any Phantom fan. You can find everything regarding the Luftwaffe birds, superb pictures, profiles etc. All the best! D.

I think that the old mold and this one are the very same but now, Revell just parted the fuselage, under wing, and outboard wing assembly. Anyway it is so nice this model/plane. I have three Thunderbirds and are great.

you made an excellent job, absolute great camo sheme, never seen on model but only in a book, JG 71 in Wittmund have had a lot of test camo shemes

The 70's called.They want their silver sprues back.
Just found the 04615 version of this in a charity shop for £7.50. That's the black and red 25th anniversary one, but it came in light grey plastic, not silver
That has become a beautiful jetfighter, great tips to follow also.

Bitchin' job man. F-4 is one of my favorite subjects. I am going to try using that Blu-Tack for masking on my GR1 build. Again, very, very nice job, keep it up.

Este es un kit con bonitos detalles ,pero tiene defectos en las formas sobre todo en la nariz y fuselaje ,las carlingas están subdimensionadas (1/75),es mejor en formas el Hasegawa new tooling F-4F Phantom II.Por cierto el kit quedó muy bonito.
