Yes it was a shame that the silver birch had to go but it’s a small garden and trees can be problematic in them. Nice job enjoyed the length of the video.🌴🌺🌹
Wow, what an epic cleanup! 🌳✨ Sad to see the tree go, but sometimes it's necessary for the space to thrive. Great job bringing the backyard back to life! 👏
Nice to see a good tidy up. I had to nip out in the middle of it, you reminded me I hadn’t trimmed back my hellebore leaves yet so I did it whilst we also had a ray or two of sunshine.
I'm not gonna be the one to pick holes in the home owners choice. You do such exemplary work and it's always a pleasure to watch. Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year from Canada.🌲🌲⌛⏳
Just shows there’s a lot off work in the gardens that can be done this time of year but instead customers put it off until spring then catch up time great video mark .
The other day I saw a wood-turner who absolutely loved working with the wood of apple trees. Perhaps, if you come across another such case you may be able to find such a craftsman in your neighbourhood. 🙂
It worries me just how many trees are being felled because people don’t ‘like’ them. We need trees to improve air quality in towns, villages etc. I am lucky to have a forest in front of the house and a country park behind it, but I have noticed that with the huge increase in traffic due to massive building of houses here, the air quality has reduced. I’m not a tree hugger per se, just concerned for future generations. 😢
I know I was sad to see a nice tree go! People are regularly still planting trees and shrubs. Gardens tend to change and evolve depending on who is living there.😊👍
🤩WOW! WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Love this longer video so much and there was such a variety of tasks, wasn't there? Could you tell me what the 3 purple, round shrubs are? LOVE that color pop. Thanks so much for sharing... Blessings from the great Pacific Northwest, Lakewood, Washington. 💛🖤💛
Very nice clean up, trees, bushes and climbers look really nice once trimmed, think I would of asked you to get rid of the apple tree also, as you said its going to damage the wall eventually. Fantastic job well done, have a great Xmas and New Year 🎄👏
That sure looked like hard work! Shame about the birch tree - would've given nice shade in the summer (probably not as important in the UK as here in Aus) and it seemed to hide that tall light pole over the back fence.
This was your lonest video yet. I say again, you work on the most beautiful properties, Mark. Are all trees good for fire wood? What are those purple bushes called?
A lot of tidying up. But it still looks a scruffy garden. Summer house needs cleaning and painting, fences repaired but she wants the silver birch taken down. Which could have been pruned every couple of years.
Very true, there is a lot more that needs doing! The tree could have been pruned which I did suggest but the homeowner hates it so wanted it gone!🤷♂️😬
It's a shame the tree had to go but it makes sense. At least there's some regret involved. If this was the States, the tree would have been removed without any qualms and had there been anymore, they would probably have been destroyed as well. They seem to have a preference for laying most gardens to waste which I suspect is simply for effect (they don't seem big on selective pruning)
Do you have a fireplace or use for some of that wood? Seems a shame to send birch, maple, and apple wood to the mulch. I've noticed around here that there must be a wood carver. Instead of removing the whole tree, He leaves a good bit of the trunk and carves bears, owls, and other creations.
It strikes me always how easy people say that a tree must go. Like it is a vase of flowers. This one wasn’t that old and if it was planted by the current owners then it was bad planning to plant it there in the first place!
@@mdgardenservices7819 my reaction was triggered by my neighbors that in the 20 years we live next to them, they ether planted or removed trees every 4-5 year.

You’ve done a wonderful job mate. 👍👍😊
Thanks 👍
Great pruning !!
Thank you 😊👍
A small garden however has so many different types of jobs to be done, I bet you are happy with your Einhell secateur, I own one and is brilliant 😀
Yes great bit of kit

Great job again!

Plenty to get done at this time of year 😊🤗

Nice job Mark. It’s a bonny little garden. ❤
It is 😄👍
Great job

Good idea
I don’t know of any
It’s good wood to burn though also 😊
Nice work mark I’ve got a few that are like this just a few visits a year shame the silver birch had to go
Thanks
It was a real shame but as you know you have to do what the customer wants 😔
Sorry about the tree but loved the way the garden all came out ❤!
The length of the video was just fine.
Thank you😊👍
I enjoyed that video Mark. And the garden has taken a bit of shape now!
Thank you😊

The 3 shrubs are pittosporum Tom Thumb 😊👍
Seems like to much in a small area, oh well, you work magic anyway. ❤
Thank you🤗

You have helped me see how to properly prune my trees, bushes and roses. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful 😊👍
I agree, tree had to go. That’s sad
I know 😔
That sure looked like hard work! Shame about the birch tree - would've given nice shade in the summer (probably not as important in the UK as here in Aus) and it seemed to hide that tall light pole over the back fence.
It was a shame!
As for shade, we are lucky if we get the sun hot enough to worry about shade!😅🤗
It’s the problem with small gardens. Regular sized trees don’t work well. Removing the tree will open up the garden more. Nice work.
It was sad but the customer was happy 😊👍
What a job. You gave the backyard some peacefulness to it. Question: Do you think those fruit trees were initially trained as Espaliers?
Thank you
I think you might be right 😊👍

Pittosporum Tom Thumb, I think.

Well I don’t like to see nice trees removed but sometimes it’s necessary !😊

The Silver Birch is sadly in the wrong place. There are several of these trees in a park near me. They are huge. 80/90 feet tall and 40 feet across.
They can get big😅

Yes the wood will be kept for our fire at home 😊👍

Will you be attending to espaliers at any point?
Unfortunately I think they are probably too far gone!😔😅
Can I ask how do you manage your garden waste 🤔🤔 great clearance 👏👏
It’s a nightmare as always
I take most of it to the local tip!
Thanks👍
