I’m not sure if renntech really tested their body kit on a wind tunnel but honestly all those part don’t seem like is functional, for all those money I rather go with tikt performance amg gtr aero kit, they are functional and they have a crazy lap time on youtube with their aero kits, and it looks ten times better then renntech kits
@@CharlieFerer I think the Carbonerre widebody kit is more about the look and is for show. The AMG GT R is already a very wide car, and when Mercedes designed the AMG GT Black Series, they didn't make the car wider, just added some wheel arches. Making the car as wider would only make it very sluggish and is not gonna be like a real GT3 car. Also, I believe you are someone who values performance greatly. I think the Carbonerre widebody kit could pose a problem at high speeds. If you carefully examine the Tikt performance kit, all the aerodynamics have been tested at high-speed.
I have a GT R Carbonerre and the car did ten seconds faster than when it was stock with the kit at Utah Motorsports (including longer control arms, etc). Big improvement because of the greater downforce especially the back of the car so traction control is not coming on continuously in stock form (which uses the rear brakes to control the rear). @@ElegantDY

They are another great kit provider. Everyone has their own taste. What do you think of the Carbonerre widebody kits?

What was the initial cost of the car itself? Absolutely awesome build!
Cost of a GT R can range from $138-165k stock.
