Hi, this is the link to the Zubat video ua-cam.com/video/kFNx52_sAlM/v-deo.html (which I think you might find useful.) Both of those saws will work well on your fruit trees it is more about how high up you are needing to work. 😃 Nita
Lovely hostesses😍 I have the fine tooth gomtaro 270, I think. It feels flimsy compared the the big teeth zubat. The gomtaro fine is 1,1 mm thick while the big teeth is 1,3-1,4 mm. Big difference! I would say gomtaro fine teeth is good for smaller up to 2-3 cm, not 2 inch. It can do it but slow, much slower than the zubat. The gomtaro fine is good for slower precision cuts. If you want to go fast then it may break because it's easy to bend. I can do acceptably fine cuts, going slooow, with my big big teeth zubat. I feel the fine teeth gomtaro is too slow after the zubat and too delicate. Seems I got spoiled by the zubat!
Hi, for the Australian Market Silky make the Fine tooth saw with a kerf of 1.1 and the Large tooth with a kerf of 1.3. The 1.3/1.4 is the Zubat range and they are designed to be a comparison to the large tooth Gomtaro. The fine tooth Gomtaro can cut larger branches, but they need to be dead or fairly dry. If you are cutting a lot of green wood I would stick to my Zubat as you say it will go a lot faster and feel better to use on that kind of wood. Thanks for your comment! Nita. 😀
