Another tip for y'all: make sure the flange (side closest to the wall) is screwed FLUSH to the floor. If you don't do this, the golden bolt may have too much slack and will spin when you try to take off the top nut. This happened to me, and I ended up having to (barely) squeeze in a nut splitter to remove it. Good luck, gals and fellas!
Oh oh, mine toilet is on the way and that water shutoff looks to be about 7” from toilet center to center of stem. Chrome trim ring gives me even less.
Now show us those annoying toilet seat screws.. delt with that unit and the toilet seat was loose and missing a bolt. the square makes big hands impossible to get In there.
You should try Relton drill bits for drilling tiles. There inexpensive and life changing for tiles.
Hello,
For this particular skirtted toilet, does the flange need to be below, flushed or on top of the finish vinyl floor?
Thank you

Before you start, make sure your water shut-off is minimum 8" to the left. Otherwise the toilet will hit it.

is it feasible to install if supply line is from the floor, about 5 inches from wall?
well made and informative, Thanks
Thank you.
That trapway size is very optimistic as far as the size of the more substantual girth of log clearance is concerned 🤔
Great video thx
What is the "proper size bit"? Thanks.
I would have made a point to alternate tightening the closet bolts on the wax ring...especially for as many pieces as that toilet comes in...
It will be with easier installation for the skirted toilet with side access to fixing bolts on the traditional flange.
BTW, which Toto toilet was this in the video ? Thanks , Gerry
