Hopefully some one sees this but when i was speaking at my local AFCO they mentioned to apply for a pilot you don't sit the DAA but you sit the CBAT instead, do you know if this is much different from the DAA, as I'm reading through your RAF officer resource ans it mentions DAA but not CBAT
Question 7 seems impossible to complete in 30s. I started to work this out by adding 12% onto £412,500. I had already run out of time by this point and those 30s dont even count the time it takes to read the question.

The officer tests at OASC are usually slightly different, but this practice will certainly help, but you may also face planning exercises and other leadership tasks. However, this is now online to my understanding - please let me know what they say and I will point you in the best direction for practice material :)
Okay I'm not sure if its just me but Question 9 400 total so I assumed 400/100 = 4 (4 equates to 1 person) The I noticed that 32-28 = 4 so 4x4 = 16? Is this just a fluke or is this a correct way to work this out?
You don't need any qualifications (GCSE's) to join the RAF Regiment. Yet, you have to take an aptitude test with a-level arithmetic. Ridiculous. I can't do maths. I am completely hopeless at it.

Is there a reason why 73.75% is not given as the correct answer to Q6? If your firing trajectory were 0.25% out then you will fail to hit your target. Is precision not required?

Cool, yeah I did the assessment for an accelerated apprenticeship in aircraft engineering. I scored really high on numerical, mechanical and electrical reasoning, but fell short on verbal, spacial and could do with some work on work rate. It caused me to be slightly below the requirements for my desired choice, so I'm gonna resit it after doing more practice in those areas. I was quite surprised at how easy the test was compared to the A-Level physics and Maths I was studying relentlessly. Few questions about percentages, multiplying fractions, basic Algebra, addition and subtraction of decimals for anyone looking at the numerical side.

@@harrypattison2980first find 12% of 41250. I do it in parts by finding 10% which is 41250 then 2% which is 8250. Add these together and get 49500. You then need to add this to the original value to get the value in 2015 to get 46200. Then work out 5% which is 23100 and add to the vale to get 485100. Hope this helps

Not quite! The correct answer is actually C = 120 hours. Here is my breakdown for you. First of all you need to determine how many ‘real’ hours he works each day. Subtract the total sum of breaks from 8 hours to reach 6 hours per day. If he works 5 days per week then he is working a total of 30 hours per week. Multiply 30 hours by 4 weeks to reach your answer of 120 hours.
