This is the greatest final stage in video game history. Try to convince me otherwise. You start as Soundwave and go on a mission to shut down the weapons. Then take control of Jetfire in an awesome aerial portion, you play as FREAKING BRUTICUS. You get to fight Bruticus! Then you see the end of the first chapter play out and it ends in a one on one duel with Megatron or Optimus. Now that's just awesome.
Not to mention you can CHOOSE TO PLAY AS EITHER OPTIMUS OR MEGATRON
It is indeed a final stage to remember
The game's way of telling you: There's no good or evil in this portion, just two factions trying to survive to the extremes. So, how's it going to be?

One of my favorite parts of this game is how neatly it connects the prologue and the final level. in the prologue as you're racing to save Optimus, there is a lot of shit going on around you that you run by. in the final level you get to see those bits in a lot more detail.
U can see Bruticus passing by in chapter I, for example
Lohan Alves you also see soundwave when you were in the elevator so everything connected narratively
I like that you switch between factions in the last level

It received praise from the vast majority of reviews, was definitely popular, & loved by the fans.

It was rereleased but was taken down because the license expired. It was never renewed so the remaster can't be bought anymore.

From Soundwave, Jetfire, Bruticus, Jazz, Bumblebee in the beginning, to choosing between The carrier of the Matrix or the Champion of Kaon this chapter while I have never personally played this game, is one of the best closers to a game I’ve ever seen. The shift between both factions is stunning, the battle between freedom and tyranny both desperately struggling for resources and a grudge that’s lasted for countless eons. The finale especially just Optimus and Megatron just phenomenal, one fighting for to restore his planet to its former glory, the other fighting for the right of all sentient beings, one standing, the other fallen. The ark falling apart during their fight was also similar to how their conflict drove Cybertron to its demise, only to end with both of their ships being torn apart never to be seen again. I want a remastered of this game so that I can relive the joy I missed out on in 2012, until that day, Till all are one.

out of every video game I played since 2007, Optimus vs Megatron was the greatest final boss battle ever #myopinion
The Skywalker And devastation, personally, is an extremely close second. I mean that fight would’ve taken the number one spot but after watching G1, (including all the episodes of the original American show and watching the movie plus reading most of the comics) i have to conclude that this battle is a perfect reinvoked and awesome rendition of the final battle from the original movie while retaining the necessary violence needed to raise stakes and keep the player on the edge of their seats from the live action movies. Awesome!
A number of epic final battles have happened since this was posted, and this is STILL in the top 5 best final boss battles ever as far as I care.

This theme, cuz I played it during it, made it so much more epic than the original theme to the boss. Also the theme makes anything matter

No lie I still play this song when I feel amped up but the way fall of cybertron is has left a huge mark on my childhood just like war for cybertron especially the ending playing as Soundwave then Jetfire then Bruticus then Jazz fighting bruticus then the final fight which you can end the game winning as Optimus and or Megatron in an epic fight this game needs either a remastered version or another continuation in the same style but I’d like too see all the WFC and FOC characters more like Airaid and Silverbolt also Thundercracker and Skywarp in the story campaign I’d honestly say it needs both for all of us transformer fans💯💯 May War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron live long and strong in our hearts and for all my Cybertronian brothers and sisters “Till all are one” ✊💯💯
