Never Alone | A short horror film by Elizabeth Barnes

This short film just so happens to be the first short film I've made entirely by myself. It made me remember why filmmaking is usually a team effort lol. But I did have fun making it, and honestly... Pretty proud of the makeup job I did for the scratch marks on my arm. I hope you enjoy!! :)

Quick tip: if you change the mode from auto to manual, you can control the lighting and brightness. This allows for more cinematic shots, clearer shots, and no flicker. Nice job.

So... of course I don't know the ghost there personally, but if I were a ghost, this (2:49) would mean "please play something!" And of course "something" in this case is more than a c-major third.
(So Ghost, if you are reading this: when she does part 2, please repeat the piano-thing so we finally may get a performance.)

What camera and lenses did you use? You did very well on this all by yourself.

I appreciate it! This was one of my earliest attempts at a suspense short film back when I was 16, so there is much that could be improved upon, but it was a great learning experience. I used a Canon EOS M50 with a 15-45mm zoom lens.

@elizabethbarnesfilms The M50 was a nice camera for its time. But I much more prefer my R7. The mirrorless cameras have become really good.
