John Deere Forage Harvesters 9000 Series Highlights of Model Year 2023

The main highlights of the John Deere 9000 series forage harvesters of model year 2023 are the brand new 18L engine, the high performance 30R grass pickup and the optimized spout.
1. NEW 18L ENGINE: Our new JD18X engine with HarvestMotion Plus will boost your productivity in heavy crop conditions with up to 800 hp and no need for Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).
This 18 L engine is the most powerful engine we have ever built. It delivers high performance with low specific fuel consumption. Without the need for DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF). We equipped it with John Deere engine controls, a high-pressure common-rail fuel system, serial turbochargers, and it features cooled EGR. Moreover, it s rear gear train significantly reduces noise, as well as torsional and crank stress.
Benefit from FULL STAGE V COMPLIANCE without diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and get more uptime with lower costs, thanks to extended service intervals.
HARVESTMOTION PLUS: Enjoy the confidence that comes from having even more performance available when you need it HarvestMotion Plus increases torque and power at low engine speeds.
2. NEW R-SERIES GRASS PICK-UP: Equipped with a big 80 cm diameter auger, larger 20 cm auger flights, and 6 tine bars with 6.5 mm tines, the new R Series pick-ups are designed for high throughput. To ensure that you can enjoy full performance for seasons to come, the 30R also features a chainless drive and heavy-duty wear parts that reduce maintenance costs.
For maximum throughput even under the toughest harvesting conditions.
3. OPTIMIZED SPOUT
The optimised spout contour much improves crop flow in sticky conditions such as alfalfa or high-sugar grass. A 20 cm longer standard configuration enhances visibility and makes trailer filling easier ideal for pick-up use or 8-row maize heads. The covers protect harnesses and hydraulic lines for even more reliability. Additional openings make cleaning and maintenance quicker and easier.
With extension modules, the spout length can be adapted to the header width. A foldable 12 row extension is available for safe road transport.
