This is similar as to what happened in the east . BB was terrible at the start of OP09 but as top players adopted it the full strength of the deck came out . As a current doffy player ive seen terrible BBs running wild . Ive had the misfortune to play 1 or 2 that were amazing and knew exactly what they were doing for each matchup. Yes the meta is different in the east but not by much . I believe BB will be the top placing deck before op10 once more top players decide to pilot it as their main and spend more time on it
Nah effect is done as soon as you take your 2nd turn and from there on looking for the Jesus and establishing on by 4 or 5 don from there you keep looking for 2 more to establish 2-3 as that will make it so that your cards you are trashing to keep them nulled will start working for you if you let lucci use any onplays after the first one you need to do more testing because that aint it
@@TeddyPanda-lg6vt Exactly. only using leader ability on 8 don from the lucci opponent is kinda troll, he ruins your board/tempo by other plays the turns before lol.
I think we’re more aggressive compared to the east. I think we would see the same results if an east Blackbeard player played against a west doffy player.
tbh its more of the suprise of blackbeard in the east. Since it popped off in the east, everyone began understanding how to play against it, so now everyone in the west knows what to do.
Nah we just weren't caught off guard by it because we saw it did well a few weeks in a row in the East. There's a reason why it's already fallen off in the East
being a whole set behind makes the west more prepared than the east. Plus east has always been a more controlling community where the west is aggressive by nature
doesn't lose to shanks and only unfavored into pluffy going 2nd, otherwise its 50/50. 100% loses to doffy but also on the other end it beats every other deck in the meta(not fake rogue decks)
@@AwakenedTCG loses to shanks for sure...its more a matter of luck for bb if shanks doesn't see back to back dragon / 10c shanks / gold roger for pressure...won my last locals as shanks against bb that way.
ppl in the west just had enough time to adopt their decks against BB thats it. Teach is very hard to pilot as well. Teach has a rough time against all those aggro decks.
How can lucci's Sabo protect his board? Did you missplay your leader ability?
Great video bro keep it up. Looking forward to seeing how you perform in Mexico

So… did u not use leader effect before he played key cards like sabo , lucci or he was playing cards just on curve with no effect.
Teach ideally doesn’t wanna leader effect until lucci reaches 7/8 don
@@oopat8349obviously not. Get ran over if you playing against a good Lucci

Always the pilot issue never the deck
Top 5 players in America.... currently 0-2 😂
You people don't know how to pilot Blackbeard
I just wonder if BB is even worth playing if Doffy is gonna be meta in 09 and beyond
BB will make sense once the meta shifts, imo. Gl on the next one! Interesting to hear how this one played out
LMAO this title is crazy af but I agree 💀
Sounds like you got greedy letting him keep leaded effext after he punished you with the double 1c into 4c
I think I just lose faster if I leader effect earlier.
Every American player is getting wrecked on Blackbeard. Just shows how far ahead the east is compared to us lmao

or maybe the east just sucks into beating BB, its such a linear deck that can be played around easily
being a whole set behind makes the west more prepared than the east. Plus east has always been a more controlling community where the west is aggressive by nature
I just dont see why BB is considered so strong when he loses to pluffy, doffy, and shanks the 3 most popular decks rn in west

it also cant even beat enel consistently. deck has like 0 good matchups just 50/50s

avoid doffys that's all it takes

lowkey look like Ice Cube
I got that a lot growing up lol
have fun at Nats
Handsome
Cosas de la Vida
Get good scrub
I think it's a skill issue honestly it just shows that you're not very good at the game... probably should stick to doffy or shanks tbh 🤔
Insane comment
@januelaraujo9159 am I wrong?
wrong
@@AwakenedTCG sure....
Wild comment to tell someone who went to nats they bad at the game
All the BB Players should just retire 🫡
