I have the exact same car. Colour and everything except mines a manual. You’re so right about the attention the car receives. It’s non stop from the moment I get on the road. Constant thumbs ups, people get their phones out and video it , they talk to you at stoplights. It’s nuts man.
Can't believe you bought the same car as me within weeks, I bought mine on the 16th of May 2015 and the car has been a dream to own. I can't believe how driving a car like this splits opinion though through the reaction you get from people. Maintenance wise I've spent even less than you, costs being insurance, tyres, and servicing mainly. Keep up the good work.
I'll get my dream car one day (Porsche). You can certainly feel the heritage in these kind of cars, something thats hard to explain to a non car person.
look after it and enjoy it ferrari's are going up in value so you still have something of value, spider is perfect for spain.the noise of the car is awesome.
I bought my first Ferrari at 24 years old. now I am 59 .I am looking to buy a 360 spider sometime in 2021 Maintenance was a big reason I sold was my first one after 3 years.
It’s absolutely beautiful. I think there’s only two cars on earth better looking than this. I have a bmw m3 convertible so I have some speed and what I think is a beautiful car but your car is number 3 on my list of the most beautiful cars ever made. Number 2 is the Ferrari 355 spider. Number 1 is the 1957 Plymouth fury. (Christine for those who aren’t familiar)
Nice - it's always good to hear that other 360 owners are in a similar boat to myself, especially when it comes to maintenance cost. (Although I would have to pull out all the receipts to work out how much it's cost me exactly.) A little jealous of the convertible over my coupe, but here in the UK there's a lot more rain to worry about ;-) If it wasn't for the weather I'd definitely have put in more than 3k miles a year over the last 3 years but hey-ho. Glad you're also enjoying Ferrari ownership
Absolute dream car .Had a chance to drive one last week for 2 days and even thought they say never meet your heroes this peace of engineering art reminded me of why it is my dream car . I always wanted to get one now I am definitely getting it 😃
Hey friend, thank you making this video. Rob from Superspeeders echos many of your thoughts and your overall experience. I could buy it now but that’s unwise. I’m all-in with physical gold and silver and hustling options as well with momentum stocks and shorting covid losers. I’m 33 now, hope to acquire one in the next 2-4 years. Looking forward to posting a video like this one day. Thank you again for this, despite Covid chaos and getting laid off, my goals are more important than ever and I really appreciate this video of inspiration and joy you have shared. Thank you very much sir. Much respect from California.
I never count gas and insurance as a cost of ownership. You pay that no matter what car you own. I owned an 85' Ferrari 308gts (9 years ago) and it had the same attention. It doesn't matter what model it is, if it has the Ferrari badge, people are excited to see it. On the bad side, it got so much attention, that I was afraid to leave it alone, to go into a store or restaurant for fear of theft or vandalism. Not sure if that fear is warranted or not. Beautiful 360, if I get another Ferrari, it would be a 360.
You kept your word regarding the 360, i appreciate that! Honestly i can't wait much longer till i get mine, yes it will be daily driven and it will get a bit of a beating, but dreams are meant to be experienced, and honestly it wouldn't kill the dream driving it every day! But excellent video i enjoy your great advice, I'll have to post the video of mine when i get it.
Really enjoyed the honest insight into owning a 360. Surprisingly fairly palatable, despite some of the repairs you've had to fork out on. Some people spend more in two years by buying a new Focus...!
Cool video thanks! I bought a Ferrari 599 GTB 7 months ago and my experience is completely opposite to yours!! A complete piece of junk that breaks down almost every time i use it... Waste of money and just keeps losing money... I don't drive it anymore and am waiting to get rid of it...
I just took out my 360 sunroof for a little ride today in Bavaria. I love the Sport mode on the Autobahn. I don't like the look oft the rear Challenge Stradale grill that much, though. Keep it up, Justin.
Generally speaking, a driven Ferrari is a happy Ferrari. Most of the higher mileage examples are faster. They need to be driven and not hidden. I have a 85 Mondial QV and drive it whenever I can. It has cost me $41,000AU (2008) to purchase with 110,000 km's on it. Insurance is $500AU a year and Rego is $800AU. I do 90% of the work on it myself ie oil, cambelts etc...and have spent $8000AU on it over 11 years. Not including fuel. It starts every time, it runs and sounds fantastic. I've put 30,000 km's on it in 10 years and that's been heaps of driving fun. I don't think you can get a better priced entry Ferrari than the Mondial and their prices will go up eventually, for they aren't building anymore. Take it from me, if you have the means and the courage, go for it and live out your dream. Forza Ferrari !
@@FezzaYT Check for a battery isolator switch...all Ferrari's have them as far as I know. It may save you plugging your car in all the time. Fantastic video and great insights on Ferrari ownership, Justin! Looking forward to the Ferrari community video :) In August I will be travelling to Spain for two weeks, I'll keep my eyes open for a red 360 Spider with carbon CS mirrors ;)
Well, first I would like to thank you for making me a little less apprehensive in purchasing a 360. The stories that you sometimes hear about Ferrari's can be a bit terrifying. Outstanding video, Fezza. Of course I'm prejudiced because I have the same car, but basically all the things you said about it - good, bad, and indifferent - are true. The drone intro and music were awesome (I watch a lot of UA-cam and I had never heard it before) and the area you live is gorgeous; in fact I'm intending to look into it for retirement.
Hey Justin! Great Video as always! Following you since one year now. Like the drone shots! There the shape of the beautifull car comes out. Your videos brought me to by my 360 this year. A blue pozzi with manual gear Box. My first prancing horse as you. Enjoy it now in the sun! Best regards from northern Germany!

Really useful video! I thought the running costs on such cars would be extremely high but apparenly not... I hope that I'll manage a successful career and be able to afford it! Sounds better than most modern supercars, and its soft lines make it age very well indeed.
Lovely looking car there Justin. Fantastic aerial video footage with the drone....really gonna have to invest in one. Really wish I could afford a Ferrari. It's also my dream car.
So taking out appreciation or depreciation effect, the cost per kilometer was around €0,70 i.e. €9,800 / 14,000 km. Already informative, thanks. How old was the car when bought? A great extra would have been if you have amounts of fixed and variable costs separately, but that would require precise cash outflow documentation and accounting, which maybe not everyone has passion to do :-)
Nice video there buddy. But can you breakdown the cost? Apart from insurance cost which varries by country what were the other costs incurred during the 2 years of ownership
Hey Fezza, please expand on the dead battery and having to replace the key locks. I think I see a key hole in the door, why couldn't you just unlock the car with a key? Forgive me, I'm not a Ferrari owner so I don't know the ins-and-outs. BTW, I really like your videos and appreciate you sharing your experiences on both the Focus RS and Ferrari 360 Spyder. I am kicking around the idea of purchasing a Focus RS or a Golf R in the future.
the problem was that the door locks were broken inside. When I tried to unlock the doors with the keys it didn't work. It was a right pain to get the car open!!
Fezza - great video and nice to see and the truth about life with a Ferrari. If you can sell the car now and basically break even, you should be in the market for a replacement Fezza and hopefully do the same over the next 2 or 3 years. I knew I had heard your title music for this video, it's what Abom79 uses. Keep up the good work.

Jeder Ferrari bekommt Aufmerksamkeit.. Hier in der Schweiz sind Ferraris allerdings nichts spezielles mehr. Der 360 ist ein Wunderschöner Ferrari. Ihre Auspuffanlage scheint mir aber alles andere als Serie zu sein?
Did you put a 360 challenge bumper on your car? If so, I quite like it as it adds a lovely and aggressive touch. Also, I am especially fond of the stradale side mirrors.
The car is as I bought it 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure the bumpers are standard, although it has the challenge grills front and rear. The mirrors look very cool but they are not original Stradale ones.
My mate with the 360 that looks like a CS has stopped driving his now as its gone up in value so much he recons it would cost him £20k per 10k miles in lack of appreciation !! His car has been values at £100k !!!!!
Hey Justin, is it correct that a Ferrari needs an engine review every 20k km? Because this is the most expensive thing to run a Ferrari I think. 10k€ for two years really doesn't sound that much, but if you have a review for, I don't know, 20k€ the story looks totally different.
it depends on the car. The 360 needs a belt change every 3 years. Mine is due this year. Cost here for the belt change and annual service combined is around €3000 so it's not so bad.
Hi Fezza, you have done the series, now we need the film! I am in a similar position to you with Nice cars and use them daily for work, a convertible is the best experience. I run mine to death though. Which drone have you gone for? (DJI Mavic PRO is one I am looking at) Organise a barbecue in a field with some live music...could be a good venue to drive over for.
thanks Don. A barbecue in a field sounds like a good plan! The drone I have is the DJI Mavic Pro. It's excellent, loads of features but I'm still learning with it. I just don't enough time to play with it.
thanks mate. I love the TVR Griffith very much. The looks and sound for me are just perfect. They do sometimes come up for sale in Spain but they are very rare here.
You need to finance. You can invest the money wisely with a greater interest what the car finance costs. Wealthy people never tie up their own money to buy cars!
It’s not super fast,?,???? It sure as hell looks it. And please please please give me this car. I’ll be your best friend for ever. It’s absolutely beautiful. And in all seriousness you seem like a really nice guy. I’m pleased for you. As well as sick with jealousy.
Just came across your videos and really enjoyed the ones I have watched. Surprised I haven't come across your channel before. You have definitely gained a new subscriber.
Does sound "mental"! Nicely tuned V8! Sure it is a joy to drive Can i make one observation: Please stay in your lane in round-abouts! Shooting a bee-line or cord across a 'roundy is dangerous. Besides, to flip a 360 right-left-right, chicane-style is more fun!
Because if you can better invest that money it can give you a good return. No point tieing up money in a car. Borrowing is cheap now. When I sold my 360 I sold it for more than what I bought it for. That's the key thing, buy at the point when they can't go down any more.
I have the exact same car. Colour and everything except mines a manual. You’re so right about the attention the car receives. It’s non stop from the moment I get on the road. Constant thumbs ups, people get their phones out and video it , they talk to you at stoplights. It’s nuts man.
When you mentioned they are typically not a good investment . . but now it’s worth €10,000+ more than you paid for it. It was a great buy 👍🏻
Mario Cantani But hey it’s a Ferrari, if you use it you need to maintain it. The great thing is it’s gone up in value 😁
Beautiful World it’s a great thing for sellers but a terrible thing for buyers!
Can't believe you bought the same car as me within weeks, I bought mine on the 16th of May 2015 and the car has been a dream to own. hehe, that's a coincidence! Glad to hear your enjoying yours and that it's costing you even less money to maintain :)
Fezza are you going to the dealership to service your car..?
really refreshing to see someone here who's worked so hard for what they have! You can genuinely tell how much owning that car means to you
thanks Sean. It took longer to get there than I hope but am definitely enjoying it very much now :)

Can you please tell me, where the video was made in spain? Looks like a very nice location....thanks
Yes, South of Spain. Costa del Sol area
But did you put down any money initially while at the dealership.
awesome sound and love the drone shots. In regards to changing your Ferrari, do you like any particular TVR?
thanks mate. I love the TVR Griffith very much. The looks and sound for me are just perfect. They do sometimes come up for sale in Spain but they are very rare here.
One of my Dream Cars right there
One of the cheapest but One of the coolest
Thanks for sharing. Very informative. And make it seem very attainable.
great video Justin!
To me and makes more sense to pay cash, if you finance it you’re going to lose even more money through the interest.
You need to finance. You can invest the money wisely with a greater interest what the car finance costs. Wealthy people never tie up their own money to buy cars!
Great video and huge help in keeping the dream alive.. thank you.. 👍
I understand your feelings to buy this car :-) Great vid. thumbs up!
What is the ground clearance of the lowest point of the front fascia?
Awesome work with the Drone Man! It does seem a little jittery though.
yeah, I need to practice some more with it to get more confident with it but hopefully will get better for future videos.
Ah this was my favorite car on nfs hot pursuit 2
Spain is soooo beautiful. So is the car! oh yeah, interesting about what you said about the people you meet. enjoy! hehe.
@Shukin Andjivin wow. I had no idea. Always wanted to visit...but zi guess nowadays with CV19 its a wash.
very nice video once again love the drone shots!
Great vid! What country are you in? Beautiful landscape.
It’s not super fast,?,???? It sure as hell looks it. And please please please give me this car. I’ll be your best friend for ever. It’s absolutely beautiful. And in all seriousness you seem like a really nice guy. I’m pleased for you. As well as sick with jealousy.
Lol! I think the 360 has aged really well and it still looks beautiful!
thats a good kind of noise i wana listen to while i drive, but i drive a ford sedan :c
Just came across your videos and really enjoyed the ones I have watched. Surprised I haven't come across your channel before. You have definitely gained a new subscriber.
thanks mate, appreciate the support :)
Your music introduction is great, who is the artist?
Good on you mate.love the car it sounds awesome. and your so humble as well :)
Does sound "mental"!
Nicely tuned V8! Sure it is a joy to drive
Can i make one observation: Please stay in your lane in round-abouts! Shooting a bee-line or cord across a 'roundy is dangerous.
Besides, to flip a 360 right-left-right, chicane-style is more fun!
Thanks for sharing. Super helpful.
So if you finance the car how do you not lose money with interest repayments and maintenance
Because if you can better invest that money it can give you a good return. No point tieing up money in a car. Borrowing is cheap now. When I sold my 360 I sold it for more than what I bought it for. That's the key thing, buy at the point when they can't go down any more.
Strongly considering buying one just for the sound
Fantastic review! I can’t wait to own one of these in the future!
thanks mate. Hope you don't have to wait too long to get your hands on one :)
brilliant video good to here the real price to run 1:-) and it still looks modern for its age cheers steve:-)
This was a humbly great video to watch !
thanks mate
