Great day to explore Jay. It’s a shame the weather didn’t cooperate! I can just imagine the parties and hunting trips out of that place when it was in full use!! Thanks for the video!!
"The park service removed the porch so you can't go in the house." Next scene your in the house! I laughed so hard. Thanks for these videos. Will be exploring with the kids in October 2023. Will have the kids wear there knee high boots and pack a trash bag.
It's near Green Run lodge. The trails aren't marked, if you research a little on Green Run lodge and find it on google maps. look to the right of Green Run lodge.
I go down between 20 and 22 PSI. When I screw the deflators in, I watch the gauge on the dash until they drop to around 20 or 22. The Park Service recommends 15, but that's pretty low. I've never had an issue between 20 and 22.
Looking forward to another one, Thanks

Yeah it was so weird....the stairs reappeared for us! HAHA Hope you have a great time, this lodge is a fun one and easy for kids to walk to.
Love your videos. Will become a part of history for those fascinated with the island.
Thanks Donna!
As you post your videos, I go on Google Earth to see where you go- can’t wait until next time we are in OC to check out these places
It's crazy what you can find on Google earth!
What trail did you take to see this? I’ll be there in 2 weeks.

@ReelJayB I think I found it. I guess you have to take a 4X4 on the beach to get to it.
@@Urbex_Undergroundexploring22 yeah. All the lodges are on the OSV portion of the island.
@ReelJayB cool I’ll definitely have one
How low do you deflate your tires to?
