I like this series so far. I think it's shaping up to be something special. The Steve McQueen look was on target in my opinion. Looking forward to future parts.
McQueen is wearing the Triumph graphic T for anyone that’s interested. I’ve also noticed he also wears white converse low tops as part of his summer style, as well as suede boots. Looking forward to seeing the Bob Dylan video! Thanks again.
@@StrayReviews interestingly, Bob Dylan also rocked a similar Triumph Tshirt on the cover of Highway 61 Revisited under his patterned button up shirt. When asked in a San Francisco interview what the meaning behind it was, he simply replied “well we all like motorcycles, don’t we?”
T Shirt still available from Triumph. The jeans are Levi’s probably 501s. The boots are Clark’s. Not sure what they cost in the States, but you’d have change from 200 quid in the uk.
The Lucas are amazing. Super light and comfortable. Unfortunately there are no half sizes so you might want to get your normal size and a size up to see which ones fit you best.
TBH, I’m not sure how you got it so wrong. Starting from the top, he’s not wearing a cap, why are you? His T-shirt is white, yours is not. That’s a huge difference. White is a classic, whatever colour yours is isn’t. And you tucked it in. Does his looked tucked in? You almost made it with the jeans, but you rolled up the bottoms. Finally the shoes were acceptable but the other ones were possibly better.
Totally agree with you. This look was far from McQueen and more dad going fishing vibes. Ditch the hat, and stick with the white tee suggested, and slim down the denim. Jeans were too loose and didn’t look put together at all. The astroflex chukkas would have been better. Honestly. I thought going with the classic McQueen shawl cardigan would have been a great addition with a metal bracelet dive watch
“Reproduce this classic photo”… No Triumph bike and T. No Clark Chukkas. Loose jeans and a hat. Sorry. Missed the mark by a much greater distance than Steve’s jump in The Great Escape…
@@StrayReviews Btw, the most stylish and cool person ever is Nat King Cole. You can trawl every single picture ever taken of that great man and you'll never see him looking shabby. Always sharp, crisp, clean attire, formal and casual. Bet he's not in the top 30 best dressed people?
Who’s your favorite style icon?
Elvis!! He was the trendsetter and his style is still iconic to this day.
Good look. Looking forward to this series and always enjoy your content. Keep it coming!
Excellent! Thank so much!
Looking forward to this series! Love to recreate style icons!
Great! I think Bob Dylan is up next.

Thank you so much!
If anyone is wondering, the boots he wore the most were his Sanders Hi Top Chukka Boots in Polo Snuff Suede. You can still buy these today!
Yes, and they are gorgeous!

Great eye! Thanks so much!

@@KernowEDC Awesome story! I gues we DO all like morcycles.
Keep this series going! Looking forward to seeing all of it, but maybe Brando most of all
Excellent! Looking forward to doing that one.

Yep, the Clarks are $140 here.
I love the boots and have several pairs of Thursday Boots. I’ve wanted the Astor’s for awhile now. Fingers crossed!!!
🤞👍👍
Thursdays are great boots
I like the style of Robert Redford in the movie "Three Days of The Condor." The character wears layers and the style reminds me of Huckberry.
For sure. Definitely could have been on the list.
Any update on the giveaway?
Entries are still open. Since it just started it will be a couple weeks before a winner is drawn.
Do you know some Good Brands for goodyearwelted chukkas?
Thursday's rugged and resilient chukkas are Goodyear welted. So is the Parkhurst Colvin.
@@StrayReviews do you know maybe some more Europeanfriendly Brands 😅. Its Hard to get the hands on those.
@@fredsoldi9006 None come to mind, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere.
Crockett & jones British. Expensive
Lee I have been looking at the Luca Terra Moc for awhile now. How did the sizing go for you?
The Lucas are amazing. Super light and comfortable. Unfortunately there are no half sizes so you might want to get your normal size and a size up to see which ones fit you best.
Love it but the shirt and jeans are way too baggy. And no hat. Just rock some strong sunglasses
Thanks! I agree. The fit was too loose.
@@StrayReviews thanks! Again, great job
Has the giveaway already happened?
Yes, but I'll have more giveaways in the future.
Triumph T shirt - levI 501 - Clark's desert Boot - all doable today quite easily !
Nice! All available on Amazon.
Two lace hole chucks never feel tight and a bit sloppy on the heel I prefer three hole , my go to chukka is the Jim Green villi
I've got my eye on the Jim Greens. They look like they can withstand a tornado.
@@StrayReviews iv had mine for about five years now and they are great , I wear them every weekend
Awesome !!!
👍👍

Steve McQueen the Cooler king 👑
100% 👍👍
Cool
Great video, man! Personally I’d lose the watch strap, it’s a bit too big and therefore distracting. Otherwise a killer look!
Gotcha, thanks so much!
I bet Steve didn't have spandex or stretch in his jeans.

Yeah, you missed the mark by a country mile. You just look like some old geezer in jeans and a tee.
That's because I am an old geezer in jeans and a tee.

@@dcthomas8959 I agree. First class. Unfortunately, I didn't create the list. If I did, he'd for sure be on it.
