- BACK in Dhaka for the last 2 days of our MAMMOTH month long Bangladesh series.It has been one hell of a journey but we have thoroughly enjoyed exploring this crazy but unique country. Today we fly from Sylhet back to Dhaka and stay in the same hotel as the PRESIDENT of BANGLADESH....and also the national cricket teams of New Zealand & Bangladesh. What a whirlwind...

I keep seeing these phrases 'didn't expect this in Bangladesh', or 'Can't believe this is Bangladesh' on your BD series which I personally have not seen from any other vlogger, and neither seen you using about any other country. Has your idea of Bangladesh been somehow shaped by Indians prior to your visit here, or been influenced by any other factor? Nonetheless, I must note that you've been very respectful of these people and their culture which I always love about your videos.

Must of been the places you visited but surprised you didn't bump into Sylheties with clean east London accents (and English accented Bengali!) while in Sylhet. It's very common, as they frequently travel back to their second home - which is why Sylhet is also nicknamed Second London in Bangladesh.

Matt, train journey’s are good but next time book your private AC carriage with sleeping arrangements. They don’t allow any hawkers into your private compartment. It’s worth it
