Talk about going down memory lane this tune is still incredible as it once was , 2 bands from this era that were way ahead of their time imo were Saga and The Cars !
I can’t believe I watched MTV in 1983 when I was just a kid and never knew about this great video and song until a couple of months ago. 2017 is like 1983 to me because I have over 200 songs on a playlist from that year!
I've said it before, I'll say it again. This Canadian band was awesome, but never got the appreciation that they deserved in North America. Apparently they were big in Germany though.
Excellent video from this Canadian band. Not sure why this song didn't do better on the Billboard charts in the States back in 1983? Thanks for posting this.
It amazes me that the band did not do better in the states. I do not think there is a more talented band anywhere. They had great hooks and loved everything about their music.
Reminds me of when I got a Floyd Rose Tremelo installed on my guitar, thanks Ian for the inspiration. This also reminds me of time with my first girlfriend, Angela. I was listening to this entire album during that time. Times to be remembered.
THE VIDEO SAYS HEADS OR TAILS!!! argh... TALES!!!!!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS EVER... AFTER WORLD'S APART! WAXX TRAXX TO THE MAXX ON WUSB.FM NY. Order their new album symmetry now.. it will be out in March
Agreed. There was always a self defeating, smug, "better than thou" element to this band. They should have been bigger than they were but they never evolved out of this ambitious arrogance that probably kept them closed. Closed minded to advice and input that would have helped. They're good and all but there is a never fully realized greatness about Saga.
Top notch song, have been a Saga fan since 1983, never saw this video clip, it's not really an added value, but well, being a "completist", I really wanted to see it. A video clip with added value is for ex. The Cars Tonigh she comes (really funny) or The Outfield's Voices of Babylon (very elegantly done). But just showing the band members overacting a bit, well, that's thirteen in dozen stuff. But that doesn't change a bit my appreciation for the band.
Underrated group so many great albums but behaviour in 1985 was their best in my opinion.
A FAVORITE FROM 1983, RUNNING WILD AT AGE 24, THE BEST OF TIMES. SOUNDS AWESOME NOW IN FEB. 2023
我が56年間の人生の中でも、ベスト10に入る名作てす😂😂
Between Worlds Apart and Heads or Tales...Saga was in heavy rotation in my bedroom during the early 80's
Maybe my favourite band. they have managed to produc sophisticated prog rock with a lot of groovy rythmns and catchy melodic lines!
NO dislikes !!!!! One of my ALL time favorite bands since 1982

First time I'm seeing it too.
1983 was an awesome year for music.
My 1st concert! Damn getting old was 14 or 15 when seen them. Time flies!
Can you quickly assemble time machine and take me back there???
Just heard this one for the first time today, and I had Mtv on all the time back in '83.
Loved saga back in the day so unique ❤❤❤
Remember when I was young. It was a great Time, great Music.
This one rules at the top over today's garbage! Such a great song.
Ian Crichton is an insanely underrated guitarist. The work on this song was not on the album. This is a different version that was on Heads or Tails
Crichton is godly. His staccato style really does it for me. And I've been playing for near 20 years.
My favorite of saga albums and I have a ton of them
☝..OMG..EXCELENT..!😉👍👌💥Those were the days..!..regards from Budapest ❤🤍💚😊
Wow ....brings back memories burried in the sand ❤️❤️❤️
goosebumps every time
I have adored Saga since 1982! ❤ Thank you for posting this treasure of a video. 💝✨

One of my favorite Saga songs , thanks for this video
Yeah... great song!!! Love the 80's!!!

My favorite Band
It's been about 36 years since I've heard this song!!!
Wow! A song about a guy who's really into recreational substances of the good kind!
Something tells me that wasn't what they intended 😂
No you're right. 80s videos were weird af.
Very underrated band from back in the day.

That Keytar is awesome!
Im got a million things that have to wait............while i crank this tune!!!!
The album that confirmed that I get a Floyd Rose tremolo system. I love Neil on this record.
Neil?
My first live concert in 1983 - I was 12 years old
Les années 80, indestructible !! 😍
Gosh Dang what a song
MTV録画して観てた。リフもソロも時代だけど好きだなこの曲!
OH MY GOD, THIS IS THE BEST OF THE 80s. THE BEST. HEAR " F IN TEN MUNUTES"
THE VIDEO SAYS HEADS OR TAILS!!! argh... TALES!!!!!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS EVER... AFTER WORLD'S APART! WAXX TRAXX TO THE MAXX ON WUSB.FM NY. Order their new album symmetry now.. it will be out in March
Doesn't get any better
Saga should invest in having their music videos remastered 👍
Creo que el álbum que contenía éste tema fue de los primeros en grabarlo totalmente digital
I'm missing all the hand made technique in the 1980's without computer.
彼って結構るけぶしなんだよ、全く!
Gosh I wish I could have produced and edited this video. Show all the fun parts the guys are playing instead of the "story."

@@NelsonClick80s videos were about telling a story even a weird video.

That was when doing videos was still newer...they ALL overacted a bit. Great tune though.
Huh, they misspell the album name as "Heads or Tails".
"Back in 10 Minutes......."
✌🧡
Rusht never slips v v
So . . . what are we to assume this song is about . . . a cocaine break?
It looks like that but the 80s were a but more innocent with videos
Great song, corny video
Yes, kind of funny. Song is awesome, really like guitar in it.
It was the 80s - corny, cheesy, glam and bizarre were all prerequisites for all 80s vids. And we LOVED it!
@@ianroberts2876 I like some corn !
All videos were corny back in the day 😂
80s videos were about that.
This is awful
