Actually, there is another competitor besides the Expedition Max that comes from Jeep: the Wagoneer L. It doesn't have as much total cargo space as the Suburban, but it has more total cargo space than the Expedition Max.
@@grouchosays no, the grand wagoneer has way less than the suburban due to not being as large and having Luxury appointments. Heck the regular wagoneer has more cargo space and the new Lexus TX has slightly more total cargo space than the non L grand Wagoneer
I got me a caravan and I want a suv just heard so many stories about these suburbans that scares me. I don’t want to make a wrong decision trading in my paid off caravan for this lol. Also for the people that do have this about how much does it take to fill this suv up?
I agree it’s overpriced, but on par with all the other overpriced vehicles out there in this inflated market. I’ve also heard they made some revisions for the transmissions starting in the 2023 model year. However, I don’t know what those revisions were.
@@MOHAWKAUTO Engine, transmission and electrical system. I was absolutely shocked to hear them say that these only got 18% for reliability. It reviewed reliability for all SUVs. They had 10 worst SUVs. Of the ten, these vehicles were #1 THE worst. So I can’t vouch for what they said. I find it hard to believe.
@@grouchosays I also find it hard to believe. They’ve been using the same engine since the dawn of time and GM transmissions are typically good and sought after. Electrical issues on the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ll have to watch that video.
@@MOHAWKAUTO yep. If everything is so bad wouldn’t that apply to the trucks. Don’t they use the same engine and transmission? I wish I could post it but I don’t know how.
Perfect for an obese couple with obese children, living in a place without roads, it is nice to see that some automakers are so inclusive. And I guess you need at least two in the family, if mum has to go to work while dad needs to go to the fast food. It will probably be fine with a 20 years loan. For everybody else, just a waste of resources, energy, and money. Honestly, in 2023 you can have a Tesla model 3 for half the price, not to mention fuel, maintenance and repairs. The more SUVs and "family trucks", the more doomed are the USA. Our children will hate us for so much selfishness.
Aren’t you a ray of sunshine? Look, I get it if you don’t like the vehicle and if it’s not a fit for you (or a fit for a lot of people honestly). This is a simply a review to help people who it may be a good fit for. By the way, comfort is for everyone and not just for whatever your definition of obese is. Teslas are great, but you might as well have compared a Honda Civic to the Suburban. It’s a terrible comparison.
@@MOHAWKAUTO My comment was not against your review, not even this specific vehicle, but about huge useless SUVs and trucks that make people slaves of their car. But if some people are happy with that, I don't really care, I am sure it makes some shareholders happy (automakers, dealers, banks, big oil). And yes I could have compared to a Honda Civic, but I did not because buying an ICE car in 2023 seems so mad. But again, I guess if you hate your children and want them the hell of a future, why not ?
IDK man, I own an older Suburban and it offers me amazing flexibility. Taking the whole family somewhere? I've got plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, and ample extra seating for a couple guests. Going diving? Remove the third row and I've got space for four divers plus gear, including drysuits and two tanks each. Gotta haul stuff? Fold the second row and I can fit 4x8 sheets of plywood in the back comfortably. Snowy? I've got 4 wheel drive, which is great for getting home in my hilly city. Find me another vehicle that offers all of those options.
@@abyssalreclass I agree with you. I had a 2006 Suburban LTZ and I loved the thing. There aren’t many vehicle that can offer the versatility that a large full size SUV like the Suburban can.
@@MOHAWKAUTO Mine is a '99 (OBS) Suburban LT. When I was shopping I was on the fence between a pickup truck and a full size SUV, then I got a good deal on the Suburban from a friend of a friend and only after having it did I realize how flexible it really was even compared to a similarly sized truck.
Only $70k. I just ordered a 2024 Suburban Z71 and it was $89k!!
Wow. Is that a good deal for your area?

Would love one if second row has reclined seats and leg rest.
I just got mine a 2024 Z71 .. as a mom im obsessed with my Suburban. is everything i need and sporty looking 😍😍
Front locker?
Not on this trim level.
I can buy two Hyundai Santa Fe’s for one Suburban. GM and Ford needs to figure out how to lower there prices.
True, but I wouldn’t count the Santa Fe as being anything close to the Suburban as far as overall capability.
Hyundai 😂😂😂

I just saw a video from Consumer Reports on the 10 SUVs to avoid. The number one was Suburban, Yukon. Least reliable. Scary
Did it mention what about them was unreliable?

Yes and no. Yes, I think it is for what you’re getting. No, because it’s comparable to its only other competition.
