Andrew and Betsy were my great Aunt and Uncle. I feel cheated that I was never able to meet them, so my daughter did a likenesss of Andrew in his pea coat. You'd think it was a photograph. I inherited several of his paintings not long ago. I feel so fortunate.
Beautiful film --- you could feel every bit of coastal life style of midcoast of Maine -- The Wyeth family are extraodinary people -- I was fortunate to meet Andrew, Betsy, Nick and James at the time of the ehxibit of Wonderous Strange in Farnsworth Art Museum in summer of 1998 when I lived in Camden Maine 🙏
DANKE GROSSER MEISTER ANDREW WYETH:
Well now egg tempura is not a plein air medium. So distant thunder was only the moment he saw the painting. It took weeks or months to paint every stalk of grass in egg whites....

Great! Thank you.
Enjoyed this very much.
Your mom would always tell me if he was still here he would do a portrait of me.
Excellent, inspiring.
Funny how enjoyable these art documentaries are when there are no art critics and "experts" verbally fouling things.
Awesomeness

As Andrews neice, you really should do more homework.
