It's hard to avoid feeling powerless to do anything about a conflict on the other side of the world. The director of the orchestra at my university raised this point in a facebook group of professors of music he's part of, and a professor from Ukraine replied, "you can play our music, while so many of us cannot". As musicians we have a lot of power to reflect the impact of conflict in the world in a way that is meaningful to those around us who otherwise might feel too disconnected to affect change. Thank you Yo-Yo and Emanuel. Inspiring as always.
We can support Ukraine by showing sympathy or fellowship with Ukraine. your frank comment shows good example. Hope the professor in Ukraine and all Ukrainian People to be safe until the end of War.

Russia certainly attacked, but has NATO kept peace with Russia, as it did with the USSR? Does the US foreign policy bring peace in the countries it is applied? Very sad.
