    If I was ever a co angler I would feel like a guest in your boat, same as in someone’s house.

    I love solitary fishing. The beauty of nature and seeing your Lures in action regardless of landing fish. Wish I could learn how to better my fishing skills from a guy like you. Great UA-cam channel you have.

    I have been bass since I was 6. I'm 46 now and still in it every chance I get. It would be a blessing to fish with a pro.

    I once way back in the day . I was wacky rigging Tiki sticks before Yamamoto took off. I was slaying out the back of the boat . I was 17 this guy could not figure out anything else they would hit on. I only had one package. This jerk put me out in the middle of the lake after my 5 in he had 0. He never even caught a fish just hated I was. Lots of terrible front boat guy stories. I'm gonna tell u another everytime u share one of these .

      Benefit of the doubt, perhaps he was intimidated, and needed advice? People are strange, and can be so immature... your boat... driver pics the music, shotgun shuts his pie hole...

    I had a guy cast 30 feet in front of the boat after every cast I made. He ended up losing 2 5 pounders that I could have hooked. Throwing the same bait. I finally lost it on him too. Throwing buzzbait on mono.

    Bad partners in the boat are the worst. I had a partner for a team trail who wouldn't prefish with me and then when he didn't catch anything kept telling me we need to be doing what his buddy( whom we had beaten every tournament was doing. Smh.

    I would have loved to have been the co angler with the pro fishing like you were fishing that day. I’d of rigged three rods. One with a weightless Senko, a weighted Senko, and a jig. I could have fished everything you fished very effectively after you had fished it. I think I’d of had a fairly decent day. And I’d of been sick for you when that last one jumped off. I might’ve tried to offer a suggestion as to where you might could catch another fish (if rules permit).

  • @richardjohnson6695
    @richardjohnson6695 Місяць тому +2

    I know this is going to draw heat but do not think there should be co-anglers. It is unfair to the co-angler to be banished to the back with no say and it’s unfair to the pro to be burdened with dealing with a co-angler good or bad. Pro and semi pro tournaments should be solo adventures and everything else should be team oriented. This eliminates all conflicts.

    • @ericthered976
      @ericthered976 Місяць тому +2

      I disagree. Most smart co-anglers know what their role is onboard and many do it for an opportunity to learn from seasoned pros. Generally, Co-angler entrance fee is way less than the angler. If people don't want to deal with being in that role then either be the boater or don't enter as a co-angler.

    Back when I was actively flying I used to fly one of Burt Ratan's Long-EZ home built experimental airplanes for fun. It's a front/back tandem cockpit like in a fighter. I had a placard in the back cockpit that read " Get in, sit down, strap in and shut up". Pretty much my exact sentiments for any non boater in the back during a tournament ...

    It seams most respondents to this video forget that the number one job of the co-angler is to prevent all these pros from damn cheating and breaking the rules. What’s it say about a sport and its contestants that it needs constant supervision and polygraph enforcement to be anywhere legitimate? They are not just in the boat to be meek little students for the day either. They are competing on their level also. This treating them like second class citizens is unacceptable Randy. It’s very obvious by all the safe guards and boat checks that you pros as a whole, can not be trusted- bottom line
