I've just spent the day doing your tutorials on my new iPad. 6 drawings later and I'm so shocked at how you make it so simple yet when I show them to people they think I'm super talented (very new to this and very untalented) you really show that anyone can do art, no matter the skill

A few days ago i left a bad comment under this tutorial, my bad it was out of frustration, everything turned out fine in the end, and i started to enjoy and understand the process meanwhile i was repeating everything from the start, grateful i kept pushing my non existent skills to finish this drwing, i love it, thank you, sorry about that mate, have a good one.

OMG ! I look a lot of video to draw on iPad, but this one. It's so well explaned and step by step, even the # of color, the type of brush, how to add layer.... Keep going like this. It's perfect !

Great tutorial as always. Thanks for always taking your time teaching us the steps slowly. I don't think anyone else is possible to follow where we can learn beginner painting on procreate. I would like if you could show how to paint using some oil brush effects instead of just the soft brush. I always wanted to do oils, but I cannot find any instruction on how.

To do really fine shadows do you need an iPad Pro/apple pen or is it a specific setting/technique - I can’t seem to do it

Maybe my setting need to be adjusted, but I notice I need to set my opacity to about 1/2 of what your instructions say.
Can you tell me how many layers I can create -- I have an iPad 9 with 64 G's of mem. Will I have enough layers to do this painting?
How is thıs possible i use the same brush whit the same settings but the shadows are never matching the same şike yours??
Can you suggest an android app with a similar experience to procreate?
I struggled with the sky in the one for some reason.

Just begun thus one looks Fab with a capital F. Looking back at my last 10 efforts……. Or trying. Just realised I’ve had to reboot my iPad reloaded procreate and…….. iCloud failed to keep my backups I’ve lost everything not bothered s add bit much f Ed lose but spent over 300 hours following your tutorials and tweaking my efforts. Now gone. RIP efforts
That’s very frustrating, sorry to hear that. Try to stay positive about it, you learned a lot doing them so take that learning forwards and create even better stuff

Use a browser rather than the Patreon app
@@JamesJulier-Artist i did! It’s procreate that doesn’t let me select the file
If you tap on the download it should drop it into procreate automatically, check the bottom of your pallets list it usually puts it there

Darn it, once I got to 19 layers Procreate gave me a limit. I assume I'll have to flatten some. lol UGH
people can copy you, but they can never reach to your level
i wish you would stop the constant notification sounds in the background, that's my only gripe, its distracting and often I think its my own phone.

Potty there is no reference image. An explanation for why your choosing your colours.
A good demo of how to use brushes and layers but comes across as formulated rather than an impression of what your seeing.
