He just wants to show his good side!😂 What a well behaved lil cutie pie. I'm certain he and the others appreciate such a gentle and caring owner like yourself.😊
@@behklee0 he actually likes scritches on the cheek! But his partner got most of the cheek pinnies, leaving me the head. And he only likes it if I have longer than usual nails (which I usually don't😂)
@@jewlesw.2437 yep!! His eyes fall just below his feathers :D but I think his head is so big as an English budgie, he can't see as well as American budgies!
You mean why the pins occur? They’re new feathers. The sheath forms to protect the developing feather and when it’s fully ready, the sheath becomes hard and crumbly and can easily fall off. Birds open their own new feathers on the parts of the body they can reach but obviously on their head they need a bird friend or a human to help them. Just be careful if you’re new to this, growing feathers are very sensitive and you don’t want to scratch at pins that aren’t ready yet!
@@MS-tf8vh yep! There's a huge pace between his body and my hand haha. He could fly away anytime but he chooses to just....dig into my hand with his big head😂

@@TRKaliFoxxo aaww thank you!! He was struggling for a little bit here and there, haha.
OMG the way he turns around hides in your hand is so cute 😭
@@keilaaaaa hahaha yea he usually does the turn to snuggle into my hand when he sleeps at night. It's just adorable.
I wonder why bryon hates even scritches on the cheek. Maybe older birds get more sensitive.

I was just doing this to my budgie the other day, so cute 🥰 I’m curious though, is there a reason why this happens?

This is not cute. He wants to move away
Is he mad or is he enjoying it I can't tell
@@MS-tf8vh good question!! Some parts he was enjoying it (his head poofs up) and other times he was annoyed at me (turning around).
@@pinfeathersgalore ah that makes sense, I figured if he hated it he would just run/fly away you
