    I'm going to search for my book and get all my bits together. Can't wait for this to start. I've always wanted to do one of these and this is the kick in the pants I've needed. Love your videos.

    I'm so excited to follow along with this series. I avidly collect bits and pieces for my journal, and I'm looking to enhance what I already do in my journal. Thanks! :)

    Can’t wait for this series. I love the idea of drawing girls with pieces of clothing images. I enjoy faces too or your creature. Maybe simple flowers to try. I love this concept of doing a few pages at a time. I get intimidated with 2 page spreads too.

      Whoops. Had not realized this was 4 years ago. I’ll look through your videos for the rest of the series. 😉

    Ugh, hope you have a relatively stress-free move! I just had a month-long move which consisted of getting rid of like 2/3 of my stuff, so I FEEL YOU :)

    Hey Courtney, I'm so glad you got this video up. I have a container of stuff to use and will get more. I'm excited to start adding photos and extra art work because this is something I haven't done. I still need to prep my book😁 too. Hope you get your studio set up quickly for your sanity.

    I was lucky and found the same sewing book at a local thrift shop. I have started to put some paints and collage on some of the pages. I learned from you to not do the book in order and I have collected a cardboard box full of surprises scraps. I am more trying to learn how to do the girl faces, I am working wondering if you have done any video on how to do these girls. I want to learn how to create them and I am just trying to create my girls. Thanks for being willing to share.

    I've FINALLY found someone I vibe with!!!! I thought I was doing it wrong.... I was "art shaming" myself bc I'm not the greatest artist in the fine drawing skill set; so I ripped out pics all the time... You're style & flow is beautiful & makes me feel so much better & super connected to you!!!! Thanks so VERY MUCH for sharing!!! 😘💕🐾

    This is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing, you've inspired me to go back to an art journal I'd abandoned because I hated it. But now I know how to make it pretty. So thank you. And have fun moving.

    Oh sweet girl! Take care on your move and THANK YOU for taking the time to film and post this! I did have a question when you had time...do you prefer working on the glossier paper? I found an adorable doll house plans book, but the paper isn't that glossy this paper that looks like yours. I'm wondering if it will withstand my abuse. 😉

    • @LittleRavenInk
      @LittleRavenInk  8 років тому +1

      The older style paper is unusually robust! It's made a lot stronger than regular paper today which is why it's so good for
      Altered books. Glossier paper will perform a resist almost to some techniques as its got a coating on it, could have some quirky results though! If you're in love with it then use it! Xx C

    I am so excited and can't wait for this to start! I adore your journaling style and am really looking forward to learning more how you build your pages. One quick question......will you be removing any of the pages in your book to free up some space to allow for the thickness from all of the additions of paper and bits that you will be adding in? Best of luck to you on your upcoming move! I hope it's stress-free and goes smoothly! :-)

    • @LittleRavenInk
      @LittleRavenInk  8 років тому

      Hey lovely! Watch the first video you see me removing paper! The link is in the description! I removed every other page so the spine doesn't break as we fill our books! Enjoy video one!!!!

      +TheLittleInk Oh I missed that one! lol Thanks so much for your help and I'll check it out for sure! I am so behind with watching everyone's videos. There just isn't enough time in the day is there? lol Thanks again!

  • @Scrapbookingncraft

    cool cant wait to start....just a quick question do you glue pages together or just work on then as single sheets....

    • @LittleRavenInk
      @LittleRavenInk  8 років тому

      I work on single sheets 90% of the time but if I show you something that needs more layers I'll mention when I glue them together, the older paper seems to have a more robustness to it, it can withstand a lot more than paper now days! Hope that helps

    One Question please where do we purchase the magazines you mentioned Flow and Frankie>? thank you.:)

    • @LittleRavenInk
      @LittleRavenInk  8 років тому +1

      You can grab both online, Frankie is an Aussie magazine so most newsagents carry it! Flow is harder to find as its from the Netherlands so some newsagents stock it but in small quantities, some order that online special.

    OMG, such an beautiful and creative journal!! I would soooo love to make a sewing book like that!! Btw, Is that Australian version flow? Why do I think it's so much cuter than the French version?!lol... Thanks for the inspiration:D
