The SB (not just Dunks) boxes are based on the era/time period; Tiffany blue, pink, black, gold, royal blue, purple, etc. The multicolored box is for ‘QS (Quickstrikes)’ or exclusive collaborations, sometimes they’ll even do something more unique as seen with the recent KC/DC SB Dunk High, honoring the 20 year anniversary of KCDC Skateshop in NYC.

These not a collab just inspired by and Purple Box is for their Inline/GR releases, so either just Nike SB or High stock
(40-50k). Rainbow box is the QS/Collab release box. (same thing with how in Teal era 2014-2019, the all teal box was the Inline release and the Teal/Black box was the QS box)
prior to that Brown, Silver, Pink, Black, Gold, Blue, Tape there was no difference in "QS to GR" because stock was damn near identical for almost every release with some exceptions in a box era because SB always increases stock when going to a new box era (Brown the norm was 200-500, Silver was 400-2000, Pink was 500-5000, Black was 2000-8000, Gold was like 4000-10k, etc)
Homers, Marges and Barts are not collab pairs, SB not tryna pay licensing fees
Simpson used to come on at 6:30 and 11:30 on fox we didn’t have cable fan straight out of South Central LA

I go tts on regular dunks and 1/2 size up on sb dunks. SBs have thicker padding around the ankle and in the tongue so they don't slip around while you're skating, but they make it a little snug for casual wear.

Great video man, I’m glad to hear the Barts are still set to release. I’ve seen a few pairs on line going for +$400 so I’m glad that’s the pre-release price. Any idea when they are actually dropping?
It says they’re releasing may 7th, I grabbed them from goat but they keep having problems actually sending me the sneakers so I’m just waiting now.

@@rudysaucedo6659 the seller apparently never shipped them to goat so my order got canceled, my issue was goat taking like 13 days to actually do anything when the seller is suppose to only have like 3 days to ship them in for Authentication. they wasted a lot of time with lack of actual customer service. I got so upset that the order got cancelled that I paid the pre-authenticated price like an idiot which was like $100 more than my first order and had them immediately shipped. Fed ex delivered them today actually and They came from the Hong Kong warehouse goat has over there and I’m in New York, took about 3 days from when I made the purchase. I paid a ton of money for them but really wanted them and don’t care, I’m happy.
@@visiller just for future reference, if you’re willing to wait a few weeks after some of the release dates you’ll see the prices drop considerably and the shipping will be quicker.
For example, I ordered a pair of New Balance 992 x DTLR Varsity from GOAT (price for 11.5 was $500+ but it dropped one day to $260 after an offer I made so I snagged them), and I used regular shipping and received them the next day. It’s an extreme example because the shoe was in the Jersey warehouse since the release was the end of October, 2021 but still. Especially with releases that are fresh like this, they’re dealing with overseas delays and such.

I don’t normally buy kicks before release but I needed these regardless and just felt like they were gonna sky rocket in price if I didn’t grab them now. I appreciate you looking out though man thanks.
not rainbow box prob because it's not an official collab. Nike cannot call them "Barts" or "Simpsons" ... they dance around the obvious inspiration on the SNKRS app show, but they could not directly say Bart or Simpsons because of copyrights.
