Hah I grew up playing with an autococker and its incredible how quickly you learn to play tight when you play switch to an electric gun or something like an EMEK. As a kid it seemed so rare to blast your mask with the backblock and now it happens at least once a game when I use the cocker.
I’m so used to my dsr+ for ICPL that when I was at Pittsburgh and felt like breaking out the pre-FreeFlow Dye Reflex, it felt like I wasn’t performing up to speed the whole game. It certainly wasn’t the cockers fault, as it ran smooth the whole game. I’ll never hate cockers, but space mechs are truly a whole different world. More like an Automag, but still nowhere close to modern mechs.
With a proper beavertail you shouldn't blast your mask. it extends out just slightly farther than the block movement. Only know cause I got mine out after 15+ years and was similarly concerned. Had zero issues. Still playing tight from the drop forward on it bringing the tank well under my arm rather than into my shoulder/arm pit.
@@taylorwhite6022Modern mech gamma core guns have much lighter triggers. The gamma core firing cycle is fastter than a cocker. Nostalgia is nice and all but teams like Aftershock and Rage were hammering people into their cover in woodsball during the mid 90s. Tourney play has always been volume before hyperball was even a thing. People get the accuracy thing wrong, it was using volume to pin players down so they could move on them.
I used to play with a Budd Orr sniper two pump gun and a 50 ball hopper. Back in the days of 10 ball tubes of paint i carried in a 12 Ga shotgun shell belt.
I used to have a green e bladed free flow cocker and it was unironically the most reliable gun I ever owned. Never should have sold it. I also used to have a Dye Reflex in a clear/blue fade and a Toxic DM3. I'm still kicking myself over the Reflex, but man I miss all three of those guns so much it hurts.
I only have 1 electro left, a 2015 Axe Pro. Usually play Magfed or pump now with my phantom or my MG100 and my Emek which I have a TipX mag body for. But I still play mech with the emek, couple of super up'd cockers and my old trusty Pro Carb and 98. Gotta say the Emek is the most worry free just grab and go. But the cockers have a special panache and my PC feels like an old friend! Sometimes "personality" counts more than performance.
Would have like a summary at the end on how you would compare the three in terms of shooting and how they felt. If you liked one over the other and why.
First time using an autococker back in like 2007 I scratched the F out my fav lenses... it was my buddies gun so I was not prepared for the moving piece on the back and it got me good multiple times
Such a key thing to trust field info and not try to make things happen without data. Can’t put a clock on rec games to speed things up. Annoying when you don’t have regulars to relay info.
I’m old and out of the game. I heard e-mech and was expecting some old school lv10 goodness 😅. The new e-mech looks muuccchhh easier to live with tho 😂
Hey, so if you want a cocker you can play close to, build a mid block body with an 86 frame. No back block or cocking rod to smack your mask and the frame angle lends itself to playing tight better.
Ey guy 11:58 you made this video a month ago. Did you ever actually go to an orthopedic doctor to get checked out? You better! That knee of yours shouldn't hurt like that for such a prolonged period of time, so if it's still bothering you now A MONTH LATER you did soft tissue damage that needs to be addressed. I'm not making any money of this, so I have nothing to gain OTHER than seeing you be happy and talking in one of your next videos, about what a great idea it was to go get checked out. Good luck! I hope you're feeling better... also... bro... who the heck forgets their hopper AND THEIR TANK??? I'd a lent you em too hahahahahahaha
Doing much better now, I knew that if I actually working out it would get much better...and a week later Its fine lol, thank you. Ehhh I take so much stuff sometimes with paintball and camera gear its surprising I don't forget more lol
Nothing sounds like an Auto Cocker
You bet, it makes me feel like Im a kid again lol
Miss my old Evo autococker

Every time I tried shoot left handed it hit my mask 😂

Definitely like retro and older mech vids and talks
Awesome video and cool guns. I've only played woodsball or scenario games and this makes me less nervous to try speedball.
try it you ll like it
Great gameplay footage Brad! Really enjoyed this one
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you .

I hear ya there are probably 5 guns I wish I had. Made sense at the time to sell them. 😢

Love the auto Cocker it’s an classic, would love a history lesson video, from the auto Cocker?!!
Use to use an autococker in early 2000s when I played for Bad Karma in Florida. Until I won a 1st place prize which was a SP Impulse.
Which is your favorite? Ive had a couple mech CS2s and they have the best ergonomics but i always go back for the Emek for some reason
I love my emek because it’s so cheap, but CS2 shoots great and I think I like ergos more.
Would have like a summary at the end on how you would compare the three in terms of shooting and how they felt. If you liked one over the other and why.
Those free flow autocokers are a thing of beauty.
i have an old AutoCocker Lightning but its been sitting forever without air in it so im sure it needs all new o rings but i love autocockers man
This is the earliest I’ve ever been
1st
Love those videos!
Hello I just moved to Dixon California and want to get back into paintball. Weren’t sure what a few good places to go are
Lots of good stuff in the Area. Davis, Fairfield Extreme and where I play Capital Edge are all close.
Love these vids 🔥
Best videos on youtube bro
Appreciate that. 👍

What field is this? Looks fun
Bigger tank and no beavertail is the way to go.
Yeah bigger tank for sure would have helped lol
Try strengthening ur hip flexors, should help your knee pain.
You bet, working on my entire legs 🦵

For sure, at one point I had an Inception Hornet body that was midblock.
How would you compare the shot between the Cocker and CS2?
CS2 for sure, they are definitely quieter a smoother. Was the first time I actually played with a mech CS2 really liked it.
i wish cockers would come back.... they are so damn expensive now
Miss my automag
Does nobody call themselves out when they get hit over there?! Lol. I can't imagine having to yell "I hit him!". Everytime I shot someone.
No everyone does, sometimes I’ll yell at my friends. In these videos I’m wearing a mic no one can hear me but myself and maybe the person next to me.
HEY... NO ONE SHOOTS THE CAMERAMAN
How tall are you?
6’5”ish
How often do you go to the field?
Pretty much every weekend.
Nice, I'll bring out the Emag and my C&C Autococker for you to play with. Just like this episode. ✌️ out till then
Going to make my very first trip out there tomorrow. ✌️out
Pads or no pads???
No knee pads, but elbow and nut pad yes.
I thought he sold the Freeflow, saw it pop up for sale a year ago.
I don’t know, he’s for still go it.
old school would pump guns
I stopped playing in 2003ish.. Everything going electric kindve ruined paintball
Rate of fire is capped at 10.5bps now. It’s a great time to come back.
God and Jesus loves you all spread the word

I neither confirm nor deny that I am a physician. This is medical advice: GO GET YOUR KNEE CHECK OUT, Please.

Yikes lol that’s why I haven’t sold any recently lol. Thank You!
