This was the first kind of dubstep that I heard that I would actually refer to as having musicality to it. It wasn't just utilizing the common dubstepish clicks and buzzes for the hell of it. This is top notch. I wish he'd go back to stuff like this.
The Spotify version of this song recently changed at 0:53 and 3:38... had to come here to make sure I wasn't crazy. I guess music can just get "patched" these days... maybe due to a copyright claim on the soundbite?
Same thing surprised me... didn't hear the song in a while and was anticipating the "pum-pum-pum-pum-pump it up!" but that didn't happen. It's definitely a copyright thing, and honestly the new drop sounds fucking dope too.
you know what, i hadnt consciously noticed this before but when you go back and listen to his stuff earlier than the outbreak album you realise how much his production quality has improved since then, this is good and everything but his newer stuff is so much cleaner and better
