Just checked my bulbs right now and the low beam is a 9005 and the high beam is a h7. Every website I checked on and even my owners manual has them backwards. Low beam is indeed 9005 and high beam is h7.
Made sure to only show the easy side 😅 the other side has the fuse box like an inch from the back of the headlight. Extremely frustrating to fit anything in there, like a hand or new bulb.
All the components of the lights are almost identical to the previous model. How fascinating, the engine electric harnesses, only slight differences, and that transmission is probably the biggest difference though unless you got the standard transmission over that cvt transmission.

Which fuse is for the headlights so I can see if their blown. Every auto body shop I go to says they don’t know or don’t have anyone certified for electrical work. So I hope the fuse is the issue 😢just don’t know exactly which one to replace.
Do you know how to change it on the other side? It seems pretty tight. The fuse box is too close to the back cover to remove the bulb. Thanks in advance.
kia, you are not as bad as others but this design is AWFUL, one side, two minutes. the fuse box side? For those of us with less than small hands or with less than alot of strenght, ITS ALMOST IMPOSSBILE....good grief its a headlight kia
Are the bulb size and plug the same for both high and low beam? Did you manage to replace both of them? I want to replace mine too. Any 9005 led light with the connector would work?

@@koolpoll86 2019 kia forte his low beams quit working he replaced the bulbs and they started to work again he shit the car off and after a few hours he started the car and then the low beams quit working and then all the sudden the drivers low beam started working but not the passengers I checked the bulbs they are good but his drivers headlight assembly has moisture in it but that's the light that is working and when I testes the connector he had no power going to both lights now he has it on the drivers side but not the passenger side
@@richardgibson4010 it could be a few different things. Since there was water in the headlight assembly. Could you please inspect the connectors to see if there’s any kind of corrosion. Second it could be a bad headlight relay that’s intermittent. Third possibility is there could be a bear wire beyond the headlight assembly that could be bare from wild animals biting onto it. The wire jacket material was made with an eco-friendly food base material. So it’s attractive to wild animals. I would also be concerned about the headlight assembly that has water in it. Inspect the seals make sure it’s not leaking. I hope this information is gives you a place to start troubleshooting. Please let me know what your findings are I would love to know.
Hi Tony J, what happens if you don't have canbus for low beam head light? I replaced the high beam with a couple of H7 LED without canbus but they are working perfectly.
Joshua Leshnick The interior light bulb sizes for the map lights are 168/194 bulbs the dome light/room light is a de3175 and the vanity mirrors are also de3175. The only way I know it because I changed mine to leds, I hope this helps!

The car‘s warranty was not voided. I confirmed this with my local dealer as well as Kia directly. The headlight bulbs are considered routine maintenance. Check your owners manual
