- int this video I share my opinion about how I feel playing bows in Albion Online. Some bows are a competitive in some kind of contents but mostly bows are trash and very weak compared to the others weapons... I built my channel sharing my bows gameplays with the community and talking to other players that plays bows and listening the community that follows my content, I decide to make this video.

Boa tarde rapaziada! Eu tive que fazer este video em Ingles para ele ter um alcance e impacto maior.
Ele é um desabafo com vcs que acompanham o meu canal e depois de muitas mensagems de jogadores de gostam de arcos, de iniciantes reclamando e depois de varios anos jogando com arco e se sentir ficando pra tras comparado as outras armas, eu decedi fazer esse video onde eu trago fatos comparando armas, cooldowns e situações onde provam que os arcos edtão muito fracos.
Vdd mano, incluindo aquele arco q ninguém usa , com a pior habilidade possível , e que só deram um buff nele , poderiam ter feito um rework pra fazer ele ser usado novamente

The first weapon that I took in Albion was the bow. Nowadays, for your videos I started again playing with bows and I love them. Its true that one mistake kills you instantly, today I died 6 times , mostly thanks to my missclicks (I’m still learning), but I’m not going to give up so easily. I have faith that one day bows are gonna rule this game.

Man, I share the same love for bows you have. But this video opened my eyes! I knew bows were at a disadvantage, but I never realised it was this bad. Thanks for making this and all your other bow pvp videos, they're great. I'll level my longbow to 100 but I'll be taking on other weapons as well now.

Comecei a jogar Albion quando ainda precisava comprar o jogo, nada de free to play, desde então nunca vi nenhuma mudança significativa nos bows, apenas quando colocaram o frost shot como cast. Sou jogador de bow desde sempre e acho que o que mais matou o warbow que no caso era o único bow pra fazer pvp solo ou duo foi tirar o poison do mage cowl, isso sim acabou de vez com a competividade, como se não bastasse nerferam o bow simples que agora tem recast para recarregar flechas e diminuição de dano quando o oponente está perto. Parece que os devs realmente não gostam dos arquinhos. Resumindo, concordo com vc plenamente em tudo que disse no vídeo. Ainda insisto em jogar de bow as vezes para brincar e por ser a única arma que tenho tudo upado no máximo, mas estou trocando para healer para fazer um duo que tenha mais competividade.
I feel the same, when I got back to playing Albion after 2 years and saw what they did to the regular bow I felt conflicted. Sure, it's nice it's a slight movement skill but the nerf on damage sucks

Mano, assisti todo o seu vídeo, e compactuo com o seu sentimento, com tudo. Eu também tenho milhares de horas jogando de bow, o adon chegou a ser digno no game, quando ainda pelo menos combava o E com o casaco de mercenário, depois que tiraram isso em diante, somente heróis como nós ficaram, porque além de não ter mobilidade também perdemos nosso UNICO combo de sustain!!! Os outros bows são fraquissimos...exigindo uma jogabilidade absurda pra vencer, exceto o bowzinho que em ALGUNS 1x1 ainda se salva um pouco mesmo pra noobs. Eu senti a IMENSA diferença de poder das outras armas quando começei a fazer crystal league justamente pra testar isso, e pude sentir com as classes em ambiente de IP balanceado e com todos jogando sem a pressão de perder itens a ESMAGADORA diferença de poder..... ali eu decidi migrar 70% do meu tempo para fire, só jogo de bow hoje em dia por saudade e nostalgia. I'm a bow player, wow, aion, every game that I can pick that weapon, I started 5 days ago, I made 2 millions and I hace already full tier V with badon, but I Will change it, better bow that 1 month later, thanks for Those video
I agree they need some attention but also during your weapon breakdown it does shows there are many really viable options. They just need to tweak over a few weaker ones but overall the weapon balance and variety is getting a lot better. I don't agree balance on armors should be based on specific match-ups, a lot of the armors posing trouble with bows are no troubles with other weapons.
The problem is how we got here. Early on in albion, bows were upper mid, so as time went on they received nerfs while other weapons started to receive buffs, additionally new weapons keep coming out and are typically just strong out the gate, axe was reworked entirely. In a way SBI almost recognizes this with the Wailing bow rework, and I quote "To change this we are improving projectile speed and hit detection, which feel a bit outdated in modern Albion." The part about modern Albion is where SBI is missing the mark with the rest of bows. Fixing wailing needs to happen, but the other bows are being left in the dust in Open World, Mists, and just about every piece of content. They need to give back some of what made bows good in the early days. Speedshot used to have a 10 second cool down.... Frost shot for a time was instant no cast time, it also had a really low cooldown. When they took these things away it might have made sense at the time, but no longer, and that is the problem the memory for whomever is designing balance. They know they nerfed these things, so they are hesitant of giving them back, but in modern Albion which they recognize is a different version of the game from years ago, bows need to be reworked....
Remember in the bow tree there is no 1h option, because in real life when has a bow ever been one handed? Ok, fine so if they have to be 2Handed then the options need to be improved to make up for losing a 1h slot. I think there is only two other trees where every weapon is two handed WarGloves and Shapeshifter, remind me of others if I am missing some. And both of those options are far and above better options if you want to have a decent time PvPing in Albion.

I'm not an expert at playing bow, I only play the badon because I like its E skill. Its W skills aren't much use for pvp and that's why I choose another weapon such as the war axe. The only bow that I consider to be good is the Whispering Bow because of its E skill which gives you more range and has good damage. yes or yes you connect the skill e, that's the good thing about that bow in my humble opinion.

Even I switched from bow of badon to other weapons because of the reasons you stated. SBI really needs to rework bows to bring them in line with other weapons.
You should try switching to other weapons and make content on those. We watch you not because of bows, but because of your skill. Try out new combinations, have fun.

Concordo plenamente... Comecei a me interessar pelo jogo faz anos, assistindo vídeos no youtube do Zulmer jogando de Warbow, com a build de capote de mago, casaco e sapatos de assassino. Na época, copiei a build dele, fiquei 700/700 (era o espec da época) em todos os itens da build... Daí nerfaram o warbow. Passei pro bowzinho, contudo, desde que comecei jogar de bowzinho, que era muito forte com casaco de mercenário, fizeram uma série de nerfs no bowzinho. Também nerfaram o badônico que deixou de se curar usando o casaco de mercenário. Enfim... acabaram com a classe dos arqueiros. Cheguei a colocar todas as bestas no 100 pra fazer HCE pq não tem nenhum arco aceito na HCE. Contudo, semelhante a vc, me resuso a jogar com outra arma e continuo jogando de bows...
isso ai mano, nos resta esperar por um futuro melhor
Finalmente alguém que tem um pouco de relevância na comunidade botou a cara pra falar as verdades desse jogo, e fico muito feliz de que você fala inglês e ainda falando mais devagar, qualquer pessoa consegue entender bem o que você tá falando...
Essa merda de balanceamento do Albion Online tá um LIXO completo tem bastante tempo... as armas melees dominam essa porcaria com muita mobilidade e danos absurdamente indescritíveis, Retroman e sua turminha de NDA player test são uns cuzuões completos... eles tem suas armas prediletas e para ele e sua turminha quanto mais fácil é matar alguém, melhor o jogo é pra eles....
O jogo tem mais de 100 armas disponíveis, porém só umas 5 são boas se você quer realmente jogar o jogo... pq esse jogo não é sobre o PVE, esse jogo é sobre PVP e sempre vai ser PVP... TODO PVE DE ALBION ONLINE É APENAS UM PREPARATIVO PARA O PVP... quem quiser discordar desse meu ponto de vista tudo, mas essa é minha visão... tanto que nos últimos anos eles aceleraram pra caramba o up das coisas para justamente trazer os novos jogadores para o lvl mais alto para poder jogar o PVP do game sem ficar tão defasado no speec... mas mesmo assim, vc pode ter 100/700 no arco, um jogador de luvinha, adaga, espada, machado... esse cara nem precisa ser 100 na arma, ele vai te causar um absurdo de dano com um botão.
A porra das luvas... o cara tem mobilidade em tudo quanto é lugar, o cara pode usar uma capa t3 e ficar spamando Q o mapa todo que mesmo assim não vai acabar a mana dele, já um jogador de arco bowzinho por exemplo, se ele dá um W e um E FUDEU, vc já tá na merda de mana, e pra recuperar essa mana vc precisa dá uns 6 auto ataques, e uma luvinha com um Q e um W ele já tá uma tela de distância de você... esse é o Albion Online... um jogo onde vc pode ser o que quiser, contando que vc seja aquilo que esteja quebrado.
Eu tbm acho que eles tem as armas prediletas deles.

I feel the same bro.. in fact I found your video because I was about to give up bows. After spect. It to 110 and have a 8.3 long bow I realized that there was a lote of unbalance. Also I suffer the same with warbows and the fking lvl1 creatures in the map. Está tudo fddo!

was a reggy bow 5v5 player for longest time. Was high skill cap, rolling purges etc and fun as hell. Now it's just lol without the armour pierce
Man, I feel so sad about your frustration. I really wish you and all the bow players all the best. They do really suck as you said. I didn't play much bows myself (because it's so hard, and except poisoning arrow DOT playstyle there is nothing they can offer for pvp). It's just not fun at all playing bows in albion as a solo player (in mists)
Bro, I played on the bow since 2015 on alpha, the longbow was instant E, warbow E stunned, W depended on the level, the higher the level the further you jumped, they fixed all this and killed the bow!
One thing I learned with bows. Never frost shot chasing after a person in mists if they are melee and u don’t have invis. Then ur a sitting duck
I have like 3 days playtime on my first character and i chose bow for my first Albion experience 😂 i m at 90 lvl in bows,62 lvl in long bow and i just don't want to do pve,it succ, it's not fun.
After i get 100lvl in longbow,then i pick some meta aoe,sustain build and just chill 😅😊

You are masterful at playing bow, I played it the first time I play this game. The damage against mob is kinda okayish, but when pvp you have to be super tricky and crazy. I started to look for guide and found your channel watch a lot of video, and it dawned for me, you need to be really, really masterful. So I only use long bow for faction war these day..
The little critter on the miss always crap on me if I use a skill shot type of skill. Is asking for the jump skill of bow (the W) to deals more damage give bow a chance?

Ty man for this video.2 years of playing bow and they hit bottom especially since they made "w" frost shot from 13 sec cooldown to 18 .... Its a true shame . SBI is pure shi-t as they are not capable to balance the game .

I think sbi is just scared because bows are like daggers because it is hard to balance them. They either become way to powerful or they get nerfed to the ground. I think what would be fair is add a slow to deadly shot q, or increase the pushback of multishot, or reduce frost shot cd by 1 sec and make it instant cast. This would give bows a good buff but not make them op.

no crean, si vas solo y te encuentras a 2 o 3 q sepan jugar y estas muerto.
Lo digo con experiencia, yo siempre juego con un compañero carvin bloodletter y cada arco que venía imintando lo que hacia este video se va oneshoteado.
¿Razón? botas : purgados, la bloodletter con mas mov siempre estará a rango de puegarte, ¿invi? capucha de stalker y ya esta, calleamos las con 1 carga incluso sin cargas en la espada, el arco explota.
Diras q nuestra build parace q esta hecho solo para arcos pero no es así, es una build a medida que incluso puede ganar a varios gankers usando purgas y stalkers de casco, ya que siempre bursteamos a uno o 2 rápido además de que es muy bueno para desmontar ya que especificamente lo usamos para gankear y tmb poder pelear y ya q somos 2, no iremos con 2 patas o 1 garra y 1 patas o algo así, quizas puedas desmontar pero no ganas escaramuzas.
en resumen los arcos son una shit y si encuentras paletos obvio que tienes chance de matarlos xd.
Yo llevo 2 años jugando pero mi compa desde que el albion está gratis(antes era de pago) es voz de experiencia, obviamente si te quieres subir arcos es tu decisión pero miren, yo acabe subiendo casi todo al 700 hasta los 2 helers me falta solo los martillos, no se centren en ser otps en albion, ya verán que jugarán diferente si soys una navaja suiza

(BR)O principal problema com arcos em albion, na minha opinião, nem são os arcos em si, mas sim o fato dos devs terem feito a CAGADA de colocar skill ranged em literalmente todas as outras armas, ai eu pergunto: Qual o sentido de utilizar uma arma que teoricamente o ponto forte seria justamente atacar a distancia, se vem uns lixos com arma melee e te atacam de longe tbm?(dando disable, skill pra escapar, slow etc, varios a distancia) é no mínimo estúpido, os caras conseguiram deixar a arma inútil.
(EN)The main problem with bows in albion, imo, arent the bows themselves, but the fact that devs did the $HIT to put ranged skills in literally every other weapons, so i ask: What is the reason to use a weapon that theoretically should have its best point exactly by being ranged, if trash noob players that use melee can hit you from a range? Its atleast stupid, devs made bows useless.
O mesmo acontece com armas melee que CURA! E armas de cura que dão danos absurdos! Até entendo que isso vem por conta do jogador solo... porém um machado que arremeçado te cura? É uma melee... que te acerta ranged e te cura? Isso não tem sentido nenhum ao me ver. A mobilidade até dá pra aceitar em alguns casos... mas nenhuma arma melee poderia te acertar de longe, nem curar quem usa, poderia até te dar mais defesa, mas curar? Não faz sentido.
verdade! tem isso tbm, até onde eu lembro, nenhum arco tem skill que cura, ai o cara é obrigado a usar armadura que cura(ex casaco inferial) mas só cura de perto, ou seja, só serve pra melee, ai eles dão pra arma melee, uma skill ranged que cura kkkk não faz o menor sentido@@rmarlley

Antigamente o Badon fornecia um sustain digno combanco o E com o casaco de mercenário, era nosso ÚNICO combo de sustain já que não temos skill que faça isso...e pra variar...tiraram!

Bow was my first weapon entering into Albion. I was killing enemies left and right 100ip higher than me, when I didn't know what that meant.
frostshot used to be so good, they had to ruin it adding cast time onto it

Bows are fun, even if they are trash, bows make me feel at home because as a ADC/Marksman main on MOBA games they just fit in very well. although I haven't been playing bows often mainly because our guild needs a support player, so I haven't been playing bow that much lately, and I also wanted to play HCE so theres that
you know what's a good buff for bows?
Q1 - should have that "standing up" animation after getting hit by it(the same one that happens when the Ava Monk slaps you)
Q2 - should have more armor reduct or resilience reduct
Q3 - is fine or make the poison arrow "debuff" have individual stacks, 3 ticks of Dot is fun to see
W1 - if fine
W2 - cd should be faster
W3 - Should get rework, what I was thinking was they make it a self buff so Atk speed and Mov speed for free basically (like E spell of Normal bow or whisper) to compliment the only bows W3 work on, with that bows have a 2nd mobility option or a dps ability based on the situation
W4 - they should make it so that this ability only takes 25-50% reflect or make the explosion kinda like the E spell of 1h Crossbow that sticks to an enemy and after some time it explodes or can be manually detonated
and if I wanted to Add a W5 I would want it to be a utility spell, like throwing a trap or a sticky potion(separate from the sticky potion, but wont stack with it) to slow enemies
As for the E spell
Wailing should reduce the hit counter from 4 to 2
and would only follow the damage of
2nd and 3rd hit respectively
and if they want to rework wailing, they should make it as after the Arrow of the wailing bow hits one enemy it should explode into a fan shaped area and deal damage that way.
Warbow should atleast reward players for landing shots ( although its hitbox is large af) either reduced/reset cd (mobs), turns invis/ or mov speed (players)
Passive 4(the attack speed one) - should be changed to a (crt oriented one)
for example
-every 10 spells the next "Arrow" fired will deal 1.5x to 2x damage.
-every 5 normal attack there is a 20% chance of dealing a crtical hit, dealing 1.3x-1.5x damage
and these are my suggested buffs for these
I'm staying with bows no matter what, it sux but it is what it is.

realmente santos, os arcos sao mt nerfados, e parece que quando mais forte é uma arma, mais buffada ela é, as adagas foram nerfadas até dizer chega e ainda sao meta, o arco nem precisa de nerf por que ele sempre foi mt fraco, é bizarro

It has been 4 years still bows were not buffed nor any changes. I don't think they will do something about it than nerf 😆.

As a badon user like 600 hour im even struglle in the knightfalls with pve & pvp mixed content. i have to change my poor mobilty skill with damage one (frost one) and its like death trap in any gang situation. i changed my badon with carwing sword(with -200 ip) and went to knightfall the cleaning mobs speed blowed my mind. Bows are TRASH like my english.

Switch to battleaxe, I stayed away from battleaxe bc it’s arch main weapon I see on noobs 😂 but it’s good
I think they’re afraid of buffing bows because it’s one of those weapons that if they buff it even a little bit it will be too strong.

Bows with a strong 5th W would make it balanced
i am a big bow player (warbow and badon) i and with my experience i feel like, Bow in albion is the same as for exemple Zed in league both are trash and nobody buff them, But why in league its caus zed is frustrating to play against to me bow are the same thing alot and i mean A LOT of people who dont play bow feel that bow is unfaire caus they dont know how to PvP and get outplay by a warbow with 300 ip less than them. i have the feeling that SBI made bow trash on purpose caus of that.
personally i dont mind bow beeing trash i love them and i wont change for nothing in the world but i wish we had more option as u say Bow are trash everywere WHY SBI WHY dont change the PvP caus its """""cancer""""" to play against in PvP? ok but at least give us some FKING good End game level............. bow are trash in ZVZ HCE PVE Arena AND PvP

Bow is good, but you have to be a very good player and you must do no mistakes at all. Im not a good player, so I suck with bows, but I enjoy them.
I also enjoy them... but that is the problem, we can not make any mistake while other weapons can make many of them...

Mano, eu coloquei todos meus arco no 100 e comecei a jogar de arco pelos seus vídeos, gosto muito da arma, mas está muito difícil jogar com ela, quando eu luto contra um player "novato" até que dá pra vencer, mas quando o cara sabe jogar bem mesmo é quase impossível ganhar, voltei a jogar com os machados esperando que um dia ressuscitem nossos arcos. Sou fã de suas jogadas.

Not just that, the base damage of the auto attack is BS... one of the advantages of the bow is the range, but then why the auto attacks are not buffed instead? If other melee player gets close to you and they will, your range advantage is gone. They gonna use their spells, heal themselves and kill you 100%

5 Months later... As a new player i wanna quit this shit. I playu mist as its the bets silver \ fame stuff in the game but i just get killed 400 times a day from same 3 classes. I cant get away or do anything.. sometimes invis + soldiers works but... BALANCE IS LIKE 0 in the game. No any balance about IP gear. I DONT WANT TO GO CORRUPTED :(

Only small buffs that make no difference, nothing important. But they nerfed some other weapons

I find bow fun for pve (especially longbow because i stumble upon it) but i find it hard to do pvp cause enemies got lots of mobility and dashes and i only have a boots escape
For pvp whispering bow is better
