I mean that's most cases? Like teenagers are typically still minors so they typically cast adults unless absolutely needed in both voice acting and normal acting. Rarely do you see kids voicing in animation unless it's something like Monsters Inc or Ponyo where it's integral to the story
@BB-qc4vu I know it's just a cameo, and it shouldn't be taken seriously, but there's a running joke that revolves around the fact that Gigguk won't eat his pizza crusts for childish reasons despite him being the oldest out of the 3 other members in his podcast. I'm not trying to throw shade at him.

Omg I didn’t know you did that character in Star Rail, I just recently unlocked her and because of just the way she is, she instantly became my fav, knowing your her voice just made it even better

Honestly, this kind of voice direction is really genius. Sometimes it's better to see what the voice talents can do more naturally than try and force a set voice out, especially if you're going to need a massive shit ton of lines. This especially works well on the background cast, just give vague descriptions and see what happens.
Yeah but i think you can really only do it with a REALLY experienced VA. Not to shit on other, i mean i suck at this, but i think that the less the VA has experience the more difficult it becomes to do something like this with minimal instructions

I tried to get jingliu with the stellar jade and passes I had saved up… I lost the 50/50 to himeko. Though I wanted jingliu to the point where she was the first character I spent money to get. Amalee’s character made me spend the first amount of money in the game. I made a good decision.

I was wondering what winning recordings sound like versus the final product. Like, do they find the voice they want in you during auditions. Or do they hear the unpolished one and believe that it has potential? Curious
