Suggestion; this trick feels a lot more comfortable and looks way more stylish if you lock into the toe edge when you land, and then ride out the tow edge too instead of immediately rolling onto the heals again. This also gets your body weight positioned properly to scale up to faster speeds and bigger rollers/jumps.
Thanks guys! Love your vids. Watching from Tokyo, Japan. Boarded a few times before, but always rented. Got my own gear finally, and hitting the slopes this weekend. Super amped!! Your vids have giving me a lot to learn from! Thanks again!
SnowboardProCamp hey Kevin I know it's a lot to ask but but at some point during this season can you please post a like 15 to 20min video of you just free-styling and shredding the slopes
hey i love your vidoes you literaly tought me everything i needed to know about snowboard, thanks so much for doing your channel and keep up the good work
Im a high school student that graduates this summer and I have thought taken a year of from school and go snowboarding. Have any tips and tricks for such a thing? Maybe own experience or just places that are cheap or easy to find work combined with snowboarding. Thank you, great video.!
I love your videos man! Just came across them a couple of weeks ago and I've already powered through most of the videos! I have a suggestion though. I feel like it would be awesome to mix in a vlog type video every other video. Do an informational video, then do a snowboarding vlog, info video, snowboarding vlog. I know i would love to see it and I'm sure there are a lot of other people that would too!!!
Saw you twice today! What are the chances of that happening. I've been trying to find some good beginner park areas but I'm having some trouble. My local mountain is mt hood and we have a great variety of parks there. Am I just missing it or is there a great area for beginner park riders here at Whistler?
I'm currently running a 18/3 degree stance. I like running a forward stance but I feel it's holding me back. I wanna start running a duck stance so I can practice switch riding and start doing more jumps and boxes/rails. What stance would you recommend as a starting point ? I'm pretty comfortable with blue runs and starting to do black. How should I go about this?
I have a Burton V rocker kind intermedian beginner doesn’t it seems to have a lots of flex, do you think that you can do this trick with any board like mine?
looking good kev. I love that trick. will you be using a drone this season? we're taking the phantom 4 to mayrhofen with no idea how it will perform.🏂🔥
+Snowboard. Paul I'm debating getting a drone. You can only use the out of the resort boundary, which is difficult. It's also expensive! Let me known how your drone footage turns out!
SnowboardProCamp Yeah we are going off piste some days ( with a coach) I have no idea how it will perform and there's not many videos yet. I'll tag you on ig when we try it! I love that you reply dude. 👊
Not trying to hold you down, and i really like your videos, but here you are not doing 360 noserolls. In a proper 360 noseroll the tail lifts up immediately from the ground and lands only after doing a 360. The nose has to stay on the ground during the whole trick. Plus you spin the first 90 degrees on the ground, and almost revert when landing. peace :)
Kevin can you help me out with buying a board? Im a pretty decent rider i would say but i havent really got into doing tricks. What kinda board should i buy if i want to learn tricks but also just want to ride with my friends and family? Awesome vid btw!
Tijmen Storm a burton custom is what he uses and I have used one they are perfect for that. They are a little pricey so if you want something cheaper capita has some good stuff.
Tijmen Storm idk what kinda boards your into, but I feel like the slash happy place would be perfect for that! I personally just like the look an idea of the board it's just a chill let's have fun type, hence "happy place" sbpc recently did a review if you haven't seen it yet I would consider it!
Another good video! I'm just starting to learn tricks. Been working on switch, presses, and ollies. When I land an ollie I feel like I'm going to wash out or catch an edge. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Any tips?
+Fire Rose thanks! When you're going to do the Ollie make sure your board is running straight and flat and you land straight and flat. Do a few speed checks before to set you speed. Hope this helps!
When I ride and am going straight, I tend to always be on a edge as if I'm riding flat my board starts to feel like it's kicking out and losing control and I can't get much speed on my edges, tips/advice?
sounds like you have a camber board, they tend to catch those edges. you could detune your edges at the contact points (right before the nose and tail rise). Maybe that will help a little bit. Otherwise it's just a lot of practice to get you confident about going full straight.
Thierry.F Yeah I do have a camber board, I have a libtech, T-rice HP Pro with magnetraction edges so that wouldn't help me as a beginner. I have detuned the contact points and it did help a little, but yeah confidence is most likely what I need.
smally1986 nice board, I just got myself the libtech totallyripper (T-Ripper) HP so basically the same but a little bit stiffer. couldn't try it out yet but i'll let you know if i have similar problems.
Patrick Irons i use a cheap $10 iron, any iron will work cos wax irons are a rip off and $10 for a block of wax and old credit card as a scraper sussed
Suggestion: Include a slow-mo of the trick in the video too so my tiny brain can process everything without having to watch the trick 4 times 😄 UA-cam doesn't let you slow the video down with the mobile app
Im 174 cm (5 feet 8) 70kg (155 lbs) and I ride 160cm wide board (ride berzerker) absolutlely good for carving/pow but i started to learn tricks and a bit hard wold be easyer with a sorter board but i can manage it
I have the Hero 5 and it is not as stable as he has it in his videos, and I have the stabilization on and everything :/ It doesn't look like he's using a monopod either in the shadows, it just looks like a selfie stick. I think he uses software stabilization maybe. Hope he responds
Oh yeah I forgot haha my bad. Yeah I am going to get a GoPole and see how that does. I really want to see how he gets it so stable though!! It's awesome how stable it is.
This was filmed with gopole, no gimbal, with gopro5. The pole definitely helps to minimize shaking, but also the slow speed and easy terrain helps. You can see at 4.25 where i nearly caught my edge that it shakes a little. Otherwise just focusing on being smooth and using good edge control.
Chris Eyres ye it just feels great landing something you've never done before, and all types of spins just feeling great tbh, the sound when you directly hit the groomers again :D "pammm"
well. Frontside tail rolls and eurocarve for soft board. Also some times ago you showed something like slash bombs (you called it spray).. May be you will make a separate lesson for it... And also you showed spinning on your nose, so may be more tips and time for this lesson. Redars, Alex
board shape will help, i have a symmetrical board, but some are setup unidirectional and are harder for switch. check your bindings are even on the board, setup to the rear will help in powder but not for switch. apart from that its all about practice and confidence
personally i find it way easier to do this switch than regular, my board setup is slightly directional, the nose it longer so its harder to pop from there
ha, no way. more like a backbreak if i try that. did you see the earlier video about my return to snowboarding after being out with a serious injury. the bail in this video was painful enough
Who else doesn't live near the snow and is dying all the time he upload a video?
Thanks guys! Love your vids. Watching from Tokyo, Japan. Boarded a few times before, but always rented. Got my own gear finally, and hitting the slopes this weekend. Super amped!!
Your vids have giving me a lot to learn from! Thanks again!
do more videos of you just shredding the mountain
+Philip Ahn its supposed to snow all week, so lots of shredding videos to come!
SnowboardProCamp hey Kevin I know it's a lot to ask but but at some point during this season can you please post a like 15 to 20min video of you just free-styling and shredding the slopes
Vids with Chris are the best. Good stuff!
+Geoffrey Amstutz I'll tell him!
hey i love your vidoes you literaly tought me everything i needed to know about snowboard, thanks so much for doing your channel and keep up the good work
yeah more videos with Chris doing tricks !
Thanks for the breakdown! I'ma try this tomorrow 😄
Have fun! Let us know how you do!
I love the daily uploads
I don’t think if the board leaves the ground them it’s counted as a butter 360. It’s a butter nose role 180 180 out
Im a high school student that graduates this summer and I have thought taken a year of from school and go snowboarding. Have any tips and tricks for such a thing? Maybe own experience or just places that are cheap or easy to find work combined with snowboarding. Thank you, great video.!
nice video kevin keep up the good work
I'm looking forward to this year snowboarding in just 9 days and I will definitely try to do this awesome trick
Nice video's!! I'm boarding 4 years now and wanna learn some basic tricks, csn you make a video on that topic?? Would be awsome!!
There are a lot beginner tricks... even a playlist
Keep up the good work SBC, really enjoy your videos
+Harold Reinoso thanks Harold! Will keep it up!
I love your videos man! Just came across them a couple of weeks ago and I've already powered through most of the videos! I have a suggestion though. this trick is from the proskateboarder stevie caballero, this tricks has called the caballerial 360
Thanks Captain! came here to write that, but you've got here first! ;)
Dope video Kev!
Why do you guys recommend coming into it switch instead of regular?
Easier to do it off your heals than your toes
What is the reason you start/end in switch? Wouldn't it be easier to learn this trick in regular position?
Thank you so much for this vid Kevin
This trick could also be called a "cab" spin. :)
SnowboardProCamp I am really enjoying the content that you are posting, and how often you are posting
Saw you twice today! What are the chances of that happening. I've been trying to find some good beginner park areas but I'm having some trouble. My local mountain is mt hood and we have a great variety of parks there. Am I just missing it or is there a great area for beginner park riders here at Whistler?
'the other guy' says hi! i dont the parks so i cant tell you, but they are building up a beginner park on blackcomb to skier left of the main park
Chris Eyres That's dope, thanks
kevin what is your opinion on protective gear intermediate riders? (shorts, back, wrist protection)
Great video, I'm gonna be trying that next time I hit the slopes
I'm currently running a 18/3 degree stance. I like running a forward stance but I feel it's holding me back. Hi Kevin love the vids and I was wondering if u were ever to make hoodies or something for purchase
maybe a channel-logo patch that we can sew on packs/jackets
I have a Burton V rocker kind intermedian beginner doesn’t it seems to have a lots of flex, do you think that you can do this trick with any board like mine?
looking good kev. I love that trick. will you be using a drone this season? we're taking the phantom 4 to mayrhofen with no idea how it will perform.🏂🔥

Hey man, love you videos, I do have a question, what's your preferred stance for carving/riding? No fancy tricks or nothing like that.
Se7en D3ys I think he rides goofy if I'm not mistaken..
Streetking127 I appreciate it, thanks
Not trying to hold you down, and i really like your videos, but here you are not doing 360 noserolls. In a proper 360 noseroll the tail lifts up immediately from the ground and lands only after doing a 360. The nose has to stay on the ground during the whole trick.

Isaac Kozycz thanks a lot!
Tijmen Storm idk what kinda boards your into, but I feel like the slash happy place would be perfect for that! I personally just like the look an idea of the board it's just a chill let's have fun type, hence "happy place" sbpc recently did a review if you haven't seen it yet I would consider it!
Saw you made some videos in the Boone, NC area. Im a student at Appalachian State. You from around here?
i always thought this trick was best to do into the landing transition of a jump
try to do a 270 version of this into a boardslide
Love this channel
Can you please make a video how to do the toe turn? Would be awesome!
Amazing quality of video, what is the cam you are using, please?
Gopro Hero 5 :)
+Achilles Ozherelyev I'm using the GoPro 5 Hero. Thanks for watching!
Thank you too
Another good video! I'm just starting to learn tricks. Been working on switch, presses, and ollies. When I land an ollie I feel like I'm going to wash out or catch an edge. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Any tips?

SnowboardProCamp Thanks. I'll give that a try tomorrow.
When and what types of tricks do indermediate to beginner level of tricks would you recommend or the first trick to learn
CLARITYS 50 50s on boxes
CLARITYS rodeo 540s
Cab triple 1620s ez
he has videos on beginner tricks to learn first
Cockslap to 180
Love your vids keep up the good work 👌
Definitely need to try this trick
+Samuel Wilder Its fun!
when you film with gopro do you have any special gimble or is it just the pole?
just working the pole! kev has a gimble but its not waterproof so it doesnt get out much
Muy guapo este flat. Yo lo hago pero en el aire, lo hago mas tipo skate. No se si me explico. Jejjej.
Chris throws mad steez into his spins
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that this is called a caballerial from the skateboarder Steve caballero. Fakie Ollie tre
we're changing it to kevinerial
What's your perspective on directional boards?
Do you have any tips to gain confidence for beginner to start snowboarding? thanks
thanks, i'm new here by the way
love the vids keep it up
+Kid Cannabis Thanks!
was the board a rocker that you used to do the trick 360 ?
I'm still a beginner but this and the 180 version are the tricks I wanna learn first
i think its nollie 360, not nose roll 360. to do that u have to stay whith your nose on the snow during rotation
ossacrum its switch so it's a switch Nollie or fakie Ollie
nose rolls are 180, then the nollie pop to complete the rotation
When I ride and am going straight, I tend to always be on a edge as if I'm riding flat my board starts to feel like it's kicking out and losing control and I can't get much speed on my edges, tips/advice?
sounds like you have a camber board, they tend to catch those edges.

smally1986 nice board,
I just got myself the libtech totallyripper (T-Ripper) HP so basically the same but a little bit stiffer. couldn't try it out yet but i'll let you know if i have similar problems.
Could you do videos in the park?
What lens is on your goggles its sick :D
Next time I go riding I am going to try this trick.
great job!
Any tips for someone who can't get there hands on an Irons and doesn't have any real shops to wax their board
Patrick Irons i use a cheap $10 iron, any iron will work cos wax irons are a rip off
and $10 for a block of wax and old credit card as a scraper sussed
Suggestion: Include a slow-mo of the trick in the video too so my tiny brain can process everything without having to watch the trick 4 times 😄 UA-cam doesn't let you slow the video down with the mobile app
Q&A, how do I get stickers of a used board?
Hot water and an old creditcard / car ice scraper
Im a goofy so i have to ride regular for the first step or can i just ride goofy normally?
you can do it anyway you like, usually you will find one way feels easier than the other
Seems like his not treating it as a blind landing...
Hey im 6 foot tall, is a 160cm board a good height for me? Pls help
As long as you're in the weight range you should be fine
would a 155cm board be better you think? since i weigh 155
Alright thanks alot
Im 174 cm (5 feet 8) 70kg (155 lbs) and I ride 160cm wide board (ride berzerker) absolutlely good for carving/pow but i started to learn tricks and a bit hard wold be easyer with a sorter board but i can manage it
When you order your gear online where do you usually order from?
mahmoud saad always use the house
that was so awesome!
Hey Kevin, how do you get your videos so stable?
Bike Race Addict probably some sort of gimbal
I have the Hero 5 and it is not as stable as he has it in his videos, and I have the stabilization on and everything :/ It doesn't look like he's using a monopod either in the shadows, it just looks like a selfie stick. I think he uses software stabilization maybe. Hope he responds
Oh yeah I forgot haha my bad. Yeah I am going to get a GoPole and see how that does. I really want to see how he gets it so stable though!! It's awesome how stable it is.

Are you think come to Turkey ?
What goggles are those, in looking for something hat will fit my glasses inside them
+Mackenzie Ashford they are Electric EGX. Not sure if glasses would fit. Might want to try on a few pairs!
SnowboardProCamp yeah thanks they just look a bit bigger, that's probably the type of lens though
+Mackenzie Ashford look up sport rx they sell inserts for goggles that you can put your prescription in
Can i do this trick on my toe edge and how would that be different
Works the same is just a little harder because the 1st rotation is blind
you can do it anyway you like! because you are spinning backside i find it harder to get the balance right.
Chris Eyres hey the harder the more fun right
definitely, especially if the snow is real soft you can just throw it and not worry about hurting yourself
Chris Eyres
ye it just feels great landing something you've never done before, and all types of spins just feeling great tbh, the sound when you directly hit the groomers again :D "pammm"
what kind of goggles are those
thank you so much
What camera do u use?
is this the same thing as a fs caballera/caballerial ?
about to do my 6th run at keystone tomorrow. your tips help man! thanks. hope to see you on the mountain sometime. pz.
#editwtfisthisguysmokin'
How flexible should a snowboard be to do tricks from 1 to 10?1 not flexible 10 much flexible
You should come to tahoe
more video with butter tricks pls!)))))
+Александр Дудоров What butter trick do you want to see?
well. Frontside tail rolls and eurocarve for soft board. Also some times ago you showed something like slash bombs (you called it spray).. May be you will make a separate lesson for it... And also you showed spinning on your nose, so may be more tips and time for this lesson. Redars, Alex
This is dope
No! Don't use a belt. Use suspenders. You ride more comfortably and move more freely.
good call, i used to do this. i might bust out my old 'dice pants' for future riding, they are an acquired taste i think. you have been warned
how can i learn how to ride switch i can ride pretty good regular but when i try switch it feels almost impossible
board shape will help, i have a symmetrical board, but some are setup unidirectional and are harder for switch. check your bindings are even on the board, setup to the rear will help in powder but not for switch. apart from that its all about practice and confidence
thx man cant wait to get out there this year
but i dont understand why switch? pls answer
It's easier to do a switch nollie because it's basically an ollie
Why start switch if you end switch?
Gaperz!!!!!!!
for life
any particular reason why you start in switch?
personally i find it way easier to do this switch than regular, my board setup is slightly directional, the nose it longer so its harder to pop from there
Does it matter if u land heel or toe?
should be on heelside
cab 3
Chris!!! Backflip?
ha, no way. more like a backbreak if i try that. did you see the earlier video about my return to snowboarding after being out with a serious injury. the bail in this video was painful enough
So do people forget there gloves and use your spares or what?
+Mat juarez Chris is just getting back into snowboarding, so I lent him some gear.
SnowboardProCamp okay I was confused because there was a few people wearing your old gloves and that's awesome that he's getting back in to boading
Chris is silky at this
More of chris
appreciate the love johannes
Of course really like your style of riding. Keep up the progress/returning to snowboarding
is this Brighton
This was filmed on Easy Out - a green run, on Blackcomb Mountain
Where are you riding ?
Thanks :)
Awesome
Isnt this a cabalarial?
So why do you have to do it switch?
you dont, but i find it easier, feel free to do it any/ all ways.
why you do it switch? cant you do it normal?
Ah ok thx
DOPE
i find this is how i do all my FS spins
Nice guys! :-)
👍 vid
I love you
Wouldn’t this technically be “fakie” not “nollie”?
Yea they’re just doing cab 3s lol
