I feel you could group these into two, one where at a certain point roughly palm up the twisting stops and it is more a combination of extension against the structure usually arm straightens somewhat and projection is forward, the other where the twisting continues the arm is bent and projection is not straight forward, even backward. I found this doing SMYR, it was so similar I’d slip into Aikido technique but at a certain point you had to stop twisting the shoulder.
