Just love this piece.. I heard it a long time ago as a child, and it still lives right at the center of my heart...
I think this is the best performance, from a very old vinyl record that I still have.
It is very good, but also try the one by Roger Desormiere, unfortunately not uploaded - but try to get to hear it.
This is a vey old performance; but a historical one; Ansermet payed a major role in the diffusion of several kinds of musics, including first hearing of contemporaries. He was a GREAT musician. here, he illustrates one of the last works of Rimski-Korsakov.
