I imagine it would be. Monoblocks like that would be nice to have, but are not on my list of audio gear to own- at least at this time..Thanks as always for the comment!
@@vintageaudioreview LOL ... I was thinking what it would be like to be in the room with a pair of those beasts when you send then the turn on thump from a regular pre-amp ... Cannon Shots anyone?
@@Douglas_Blake_579 I never really considered the fact that very few preamps have such a delay, and with amps like that you could have quite a surprise.
Thank you for the time, effort and knowledge you share. I have a sony str- 6060 and a sherwood s9500 which are in need of being restored. Do you still do that sort of thing? I am in the Tucson area. Thanks, Eric
Thanks so much for the kind words. I do take on repairs, but will not work on things that I think are going to be extremely difficult to repair or hard to get parts for. The best thing to do is send an email to- it is in some of the descriptions in my videos or the ABOUT section of my channel.
Thanks once again, Chris! You are indeed correct- two Vettes are the highest "honor" I give to a piece of gear. I ended up purchasing it- my buddies make me some really good deals that are hard to pass up at this stage of life.
NICE ... That 10 second anti-thump delay will be a real blessing with a pair of MC2kw monoblocks.

Another nice one, thanks! Two Vettes... must be good?
